Every kingdom has a language. Language is connected to spoken thoughts. Thoughts spoken can frame and steer your life. You already know that death and life are in the power of the tongue. That’s how God designed you.
He also designed the Kingdom to respond to your words. That’s how it was with Christ when you follow his ministry. He was and is the Word. When the anointing came on the Word power came on those words and was made ready for action.
Spoken words having power is an interesting Kingdom principle. Apostle James likened the tongue to the ability to steer a ship for example (James 3:4). Comparing a small rudder with the ability to direct a big ship is interesting. As a disciple of Christ, you have access to the power of the Gospel of the Kingdom and the language of the Kingdom. That power we call the anointing on the word. Think of it. Before the anointing came on Jesus there was no manifestation of the Kingdom of God. No healing. No miracles. No raising the dead. But when the anointing came on the Word, Jesus became the Christ. Christ means the Anointed One.
Scripture declares that the world was framed by words (Hebrews 11:3). If words can frame a day, then they can frame two days. If they can frame two days, they can frame three days. If the Word of God can frame a world, then the Word of God can frame your world. The point is, there is power in the words you speak. Take a minute to reflect on this.
Jesus gave his disciples a lesson in Kingdom design and words spoken by a disciple. He drew their attention to a mountain, a metaphor for trouble and obstacles. He said they could speak to the mountain, and it would respond. Wow. This means if you don’t like the world you live in, change it. Search Kingdom language and use it. Jesus declared, “The words that I speak are spirit and they are life.” As already said, words spoken can steer your life. Be mindful of your words. Start building a Kingdom language.
