Have you heard the term F.U.D? F.U.D. is a somewhat new phrase circulating among the crypto altcoins– Bitcoin world. It means fear, uncertainty, and doubt. FUD is the attack of negative information used as a tool for the spread of discouragement. The term is often used to expose falsehood and encourage the holders of crypto coins to keep the faith when the market turns down.
It is interesting that these words can help explain the importance of the Christian walk of faith because there are many opportunities to tap into fear, uncertainty, and doubt. Fear is an emotion experienced in anticipation of some specific pain or danger (usually accompanied by a desire to flee or fight). Uncertainty is the state of being unsure of something. And doubt is the state of being unconvinced. Notice that all three of these can be overcome by holding fast to faith in God.
The Word of God deals with all three of these. Christ said, for example, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed then you could speak to a mountain and it would move. Apostle Paul sent a letter to his spiritual son Timothy declaring that God hath not given you a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind.
Faith is a major component of Christianity. Scripture declares, without faith, it is impossible to please God. For those that come to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him. As you already know, faith is a major component within Christianity.
F.U.D. can be a major hindrance to your walk with Christ. Make sure to keep the FUD out. In other words, give no place for fear, uncertainty, and doubt.
