There are some interesting observations regarding the Kingdom of God, the laws that govern it, and how it responds to you. First, the Kingdom of God already exists. It's already here. It's all around you. It resides in the unseen spirit world. The good news is the Kingdom of God can be manifested in the natural world by faith.
The Kingdom of God, Christ's Kingdom, was created in the beginning before anything was. John wrote about this. He said, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made” (John 1:1-3). This is evidence that all things, including the Kingdom of God, were made by him and for him.
We also understand that the world, including the heavens, the earth, and the universe were brought into being and built through words. God's words. The Bible says, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear” (Hebrews 11:3). This attest that there is a kingdom in the unseen spirit world. It's called the Kingdom of God. This is the same Kingdom that Christ taught to pray for. He instructed his disciples to pray for the Kingdom to manifest. “And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth” (Luke 11:1-2).
It's interesting that the Kingdom of God has already come, but it is also coming as it waits for your faith and prayers to manifest it. Jesus taught when people were healed that the Kingdom of God became visible. In other words, the kingdom of God manifested. “And into whatsoever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you: And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The Kingdom of God is come nigh unto you” (Luke 10:8-9).
The kingdom of God was designed by God to receive the sons of God. Jesus, the first begotten Son is the founder of the kingdom. As mentioned, it is written, “In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God, he was in the beginning with God.” As a Disciple, you are connected to His Kingdom in a real way. Just as the Kingdom is spirit so too are you spirit. You are a spirit, you have a soul, and you live in a body. This is a mystery because your spirit, alive in Christ, is connected to the unseen kingdom with the ability to manifest the Kingdom when you move out in faith. As it is said in the Bible, “These signs shall follow them that believe” (Mark 16:17).
The bottom line is this, as a Disciple of Christ, you are connected to the unseen kingdom of God and it is waiting for your faith. Learn to walk in faith, speak the word of God, and watch the Kingdom manifest.
