You were born unique and different. It’s your difference that gets noticed, your difference that people remember, and your difference that God uses to help reveal your purpose. Think of it. Your exact genetic makeup (DNA) has never been duplicated, nor will it ever be.
When you were born, the breath of life entered. It’s that breath that empowers you to grow, increase, and come into levels of unique function within humanity. Christ has called you to be salt and light. Salt is used to offer flavor, and light is offered to illuminate a dark world with the knowledge of God.
People ask questions. They want to know why they were born and what their purpose is in life. Some never achieve it and miss the mark of discovery. This is sad, because the world needs your uniqueness. Those who do not recognize that their uniqueness is the key to their calling and purpose live a life of frustration and vanity, pursuing vain activities that attempt to fill an empty hole within the hearts of those who live in the flesh.
The good news is this: You can discover your purpose. It’s God’s good pleasure to reveal, by His Holy Spirit, that breath of life and what it means.
You may have been one of those who ignored the guidance of the Holy Spirit within. This is due to the fact that there are many voices in this world attempting to label you as this or that.Those voices try to tell you who you are and your "station in life." These voices speak to your soul, not your spirit. They are deceptive and destructive.
To find yourself, you must first find Christ.Christ is the answer.
Scripture offers many truths that will propel you toward faith in God and the revelation of your assignment, calling, and purpose. Scripture says, for example, "Receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls" (James 1:21). Another declares, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God" (Romans 8:14). Take note that it is God's Word and Spirit who will lead you to discover your purpose, identity, and calling. So, to close this out, Remember that you are unique. There is no one else in the world like you. You are important to Christ and needed in the world. You are one of a kind.
