Change Your Thoughts Change Your Life

Change Your Thoughts Change Your LifeChange your thoughts, change your life. When you change the way you think, you will change the way you speak. This will start moving your life in the right direction. The mystery to success is saying what God says.

When you start speaking, decreeing and declaring, several thieves will attack including demonic spirits, fear, doubt, confusion, vain imaginations, and unbelief. Jesus battled against Satan. He said the thief came only for to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Several times Satan attacked Jesus.

One day Jesus was baptized in the Jordan by John the Baptist. The heavens opened, and the Holy Spirit came on Jesus in the form of a dove driving him into the wilderness. In the wilderness, he was tempted forty days and nights. Every time the enemy attacked, Jesus responded with these words, “It is written” (Matthew 4:4-10). Jesus didn’t ignore the devil he used the word of God against him. This is what you are going to do.

Satan will try his best to discourage you, misdirect you, confuse you, and steal the promises of God out of your heart. Nevertheless, when he attacks, fight back. Scripture says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee” (James 4:7). When attacked, use your greatest weapon the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:17). Find the words you need to speak and repeat them.

FIGHT OF FAITH

Your greatest enemy will not be demonic powers. Your greatest enemy will be your emotions. That’s because your old fallen nature will try to take control in times of discouragement. Don’t let your emotions take over. Stick with the word of God. No matter what’s happing in your life, the word of God is your truth, your reality, and your victory. Resist those faithless emotions by submitting to the word of God. This is called fighting the good fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12). It’s a good fight because you win every time. Remember, it’s those fearful emotions and imaginations that are thieves. Bind them up and cast them down, and keep doing it until they stop.

Let’s suppose you receive some kind of bad report that prompts fear, discouragement, or some other kind of undesirable emotion. Bind that thought up and cast it down (2 Corinthians 10:5). Do not repeat those thoughts. Never say what your enemy desires. You can pray something like this. Fear, I use the authority Christ gave me to bind you up in the name of Jesus and cast you down! I decree no weapon formed against me can prosper. I decree victory in my life because it is written the promises of God to me are yes and amen (2 Corinthians 1:20).

Abraham was a great example when under attack. “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform” (Romans 4:20-21).

Some of your life has been a series of circumstances blowing you here, there, and everywhere, but now you are taking hold of your life by renewing your mind, changing the way you think, the words you speak, and learning to be led by the Holy Spirit instead of your emotions.

As you start speaking, decreeing, and declaring Gods promises over your life, you will soon discover that your life is moving in the right direction. You will start experiencing victory and success as Gods promises manifest in your life. Change your thoughts, change your life and experience the power of Gods promises.
