Activating the Spiritual Laws of the Universe

Spiritual Warfare and Battle Ready WordsUncover the spiritual keys of the kingdom of God and learn to activate the spiritual laws of the universe! This provides an overview of the spiritual laws of the universe, also known as the laws of the Kingdom of God.

Exploring the Parable of the Sower, the article outlines some of these powerful spiritual laws, such as “As a man thinketh in his heart so is he” and “Life and death are in the power of the tongue.” By renewing your mind with the Word of God and understanding these spiritual principles, you will be able to activate these spiritual laws in your life and unlock the kingdom of God.

Spiritual warfare is real. It is written. These are the words necessary to stop demonic assignments against you in the unseen spirit world.  It’s a battle in the realm of the spirit, that’s why it’s called spiritual warfare.

Spiritual warfare began as a result of rebellion against God. Satan deceived a third of God’s ministering angels. They fought against God and lost. That cosmic battle continues. In response, Jesus declared, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18).

Christ used the word church (ekklesia), not to mean a place of assembly such as a local church building, but an assembly of people empowered to rule and reign with Christ. A better definition of the Greek word ekklesia is an assembly of Disciples called out of spiritual death into spiritual life and given the keys of the kingdom of God to govern, occupy, and take dominion. Their mandate is found in these words.

“All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

The Church is the government of God. In ancient Greece, the Ecclesia was a group of citizens given control over city-state policy, the right to hear appeals in public court, take part in the election of chief magistrates, and confer special privileges. [1] You can imagine the warfare against the governing definition of the word ecclesia throughout history by kings, dictators, and secular humanists leadership. Regardless, Scripture declares, “Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end.”

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. (Isaiah 9:6-7)

Christ is building a governing Church with a governing people. It’s a Church able to defeat any demonic foe by Disciples anointed by the Holy Spirit to win every battle. It’s this governing body of Disciples that Christ gave the keys to the kingdom. Those keys are the kingdom principles, the laws of the kingdom of God, you have read in this book.

KINGS, LORDS, AND YOU

Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16). As a Disciple of Christ, you are one of those kings and one of those rulers. He has given you authority and the principles of the kingdom to rule. Nevertheless, not everyone is ready for battle. They need to put on the whole armor of God and learn how to fight. Apostle Paul wrote,

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” (Ephesians 6:10-13).

IT IS WRITTEN

To be battle ready means you must learn how to use the various keys of the kingdom. The most efficient key includes the words “it is written.”

Jesus was baptized by John in the Jordan. This is significant because a major shift was taking place. During the water baptism the heavens opened, the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus like a dove, and a voice spoke saying, “Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness” (Mark 1:10-12). Something happened here. Notice the Holy Spirit drove Jesus into the wilderness. “And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him” (Mark 1:13).

This was a high-level demonic confrontation, but Jesus responded to every assault with these words, “It is written.” As already said, everything God does is connected to words. Every Disciple will face opposition. When challenged, fight back. Do what Jesus taught, use the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:17).

Get battle-ready with the words “it is written” on your lips. With these words, you can end every evil assignment against you. Spiritual warfare is real. It’s a battle in the realm of the spirit. The good news is, you cannot fail. “At the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth” (Philippians 2:10).

LAWS OF THE UNIVERSE

You do not live in a world of chance, chaos, and confusion. You live in a world of spiritual laws. Some call these the laws of the universe. They are appropriately called the laws of the kingdom of God. Laws of the Kingdom of God are set in motion in the unseen spirit world and manifest themselves in the seen natural world. When these spiritual laws are acted on, they direct the course of your life with predetermined outcomes. As already mentioned, the master key to understanding all spiritual laws is found in the Parable of the Sower; sow seed and reap a harvest.

Seeds are words. Words can be planted. Words produce a harvest. When you understand this law, you will understand the spiritual nature of them all. It has taken me years of prayer and study to pull these laws out of Scripture. What took me years to see you will see in just minutes. As you read, look at these principles as the keys of the kingdom of God. These keys empower you to occupy and take dominion.

Some of these keys are:

  • As a man thinketh in his heart so is he. (Proverbs 23:7)
  • You reap what you sow. (Galatians 6:7)
  • Give, and it shall be given. (Luke 6:38)
  • What you make happen for others God will make happen for you. (Ephesians 6:8)
  • You shall have whatsoever you sayeth. (Mark 11:23)
  • Seed knows what to do. (Mark 4:27)
  • Words steer your life. (James 3:4)
  • Kind begets kind. (Genesis 1:11)
  • All beginnings start with words. (John 1:1)
  • Honor unlocks blessing. (Proverbs 3:9-10)
  • All things are possible to him that believes. (Mark 9:23)
  • Persistent determination. (Luke 11:9)
  • Calling those things that be not as though they are. (Romans 4:17)
  • Faith comes by hearing. (Romans 10:17)
  • Binding and loosing. (Matthew 16:19)
  • Life and death are in the power of the tongue. (Proverbs 18:21)

These are but a few. The Holy Spirit will show you others. All of these are spiritual principles, kingdom keys, put in place by God. As you renew your mind with the word of God, you will learn to activate these spiritual laws in your life. This is a truth, when you learn to see, opportunities will appear.

[1] The Encyclopedia Britannica says, Ecclesia, Greek ekklēsia, ("gathering of those summoned"), in ancient Greece, assembly of citizens in a city-state. Its roots lay in the Homeric agora, the meeting of the people. The Athenian Ecclesia, for which exists the most detailed record, was already functioning in Draco’s day (c. 621 bc). In the course of Solon’s codification of the law (c. 594 bc), the Ecclesia became coterminous with the body of male citizens 18 years of age or over and had final control over policy, including the right to hear appeals in the hēliaia (public court), take part in the election of archons (chief magistrates), and confer special privileges on individuals. In the Athens of the 5th and 4th centuries bc, the prytaneis, a committee of the Boule (council), summoned the Ecclesia both for regular meetings, held four times in each 10th of the year, and for special sessions. Aside from confirmation of magistrates, consideration of ways and means and similar fixed procedures, the agenda was fixed by the prytaneis. Since motions had to originate in the Boule, the Ecclesia could not initiate new business. After discussion open to all members, a vote was taken, usually by show of hands, a simple majority determining the result in most cases. Assemblies of this sort existed in most Greek city-states, continuing to function throughout the Hellenistic and Roman periods, though under the Roman Empire their powers gradually atrophied."
