Activate the laws of the Kingdom of God and create a path into your future with the Word of God. The laws of the kingdom of God are activated with words, God’s words. A kingdom law is the action it takes to achieve a predetermined result. For example, the Word declares, “Give, and it shall be given” (Luke 6:38). The instruction is give. The promise is the benefit. When you obey the instruction (give), you get the result (and it shall be given).
All creation was birthed by the word of God. “And God said, Let there be.” Scripture declares, “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be …” (Genesis 1:1-3). The words “let there be” are recorded ten times in Genesis.
Everything you see was created by God who is a spirit. All creation is the result of words spoken by God in the invisible spirit realm that created all that you see in the natural realm. This means everything seen was created by that which is unseen (Hebrews 11:3). This indicates the spirit realm is more real than the physical realm around you.
WORD PATHS
As said before, words are destinations. Words have the ability to chart a path into your future. Every thought you think and every word you speak is creating something in your future.
Jesus and his Disciples were on their way into the city. Jesus saw a fig tree without fruit and cursed it. The Disciples thought that was really strange. Returning the next day Peter seeing the fig tree dried up from the roots pointed it out. Let’s read what happened.
“And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold the fig tree which thou cursed is withered away. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” (Mark 11:20-23)
Jesus was not giving a lesson on how to curse a fig tree. He was teaching his Disciples that the word of God had power over the natural realm. The fig tree had to obey. As already said, all the world is governed by the word of God. Everything within God’s rule is designed to obey his word.
There is another great lesson here that will help your faith. The day Jesus cursed the fig tree nothing visible happened. This is powerful. He spoke words, and no one saw anything happen. Remember, words can be sent. The question is, “Where did those words go?” The answer is, those words went into the future. It wasn’t until the next day that the Disciples saw the result.
This is a beautiful truth for you. When you speak the word of God in your life, don’t get discouraged if you don’t see anything happen right away. Those prayers live and are waiting for you in your future. Words enter destinations. Words lay down a spiritual path to a destination. Remember, all possibilities are connected to the words you speak.
