Many Christians argue that allowing transgender women—individuals assigned male at birth who transition to female—to compete in women's sports undermines the integrity of these competitions. They believe that biological men generally have physical advantages in terms of strength, speed, and endurance, which can create an uneven playing field, compromising the fairness that sports strive to uphold.

From a religious perspective, many Christians view gender as a divinely ordained and immutable characteristic. This belief is often rooted in biblical passages that describe God creating humans as "male and female." Therefore, incorporating gender identity over biological sex in areas like sports is seen by some as contradicting their faith's teachings. They perceive the push from the "crazy left," as they might term it, as an attempt to blur or erase these divinely established distinctions.
