Standing Firm Against Attacks on God's Kingdom
In the beginning of 2021, the Holy Spirit let us know that there would be disruptions against ministry, attacks against unity, the family, manhood, and the continuation of a kingdom showdown. Jesus taught of kingdom against kingdom and nation against nation. He clearly instructed that deception would try to confuse many.
“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.” (Matthew 24:4-7)
This Scripture speaks of people groups such as we see today with different political and populist groups. Nevertheless, those that build their houses on the rock will stand in the day of adversity.
It was interesting that Nancy Pelosi introduced a change in gender terminology for the 117th Congress saying that terms such as father, mother, sister, brother, for example, should not be used but a more inclusive terminology. “Inclusion” is a new buzz word among those of the homosexual and transgender community. This clearly is anti-Christ because it was God our creator that determined gender as well as family government that included the man, wife and children. How long before it won't be able to pray "our Father which are in heaven?" Surely you have witnessed the continual attack against men saying that abuse is in their DNA and that men are no longer needed, wanted and are, in fact, obsolete.
It's amazing to see the demonic quest for power at any cost. Billions of dollars are spent on political campaigns. We have heard many repeating this saying “a peaceful transference of power.” In other words, to some it’s all about power. Power and money. Power over people. Power over money. Power over governments. This points to the demonic character of Satan.
You remember after Christ was baptized in the river Jordan, he entered the unseen spirit world and was challenged by Satan. Satan showed Christ all the kingdoms of the world and said if you will worship me all these kingdoms will be yours. Take a look.
"And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered (surrendered) unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve" (Luke 4:5-8).
The attack against the kingdom of God is on. The good news is this, Jesus is still King of kings and Ruler of rulers. It is clear the sons of God are making a stand against the wiles of the devil. Disciples of Christ are gearing up with the armor of God and using the Name of Jesus against every assignment that the enemy can come up with.
Jesus said he would build a church that the gates of hell could not prevail against. All we have to do is stand. Paul wrote, "Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand" (Ephesians 6:13).
We have a path to victory. That path is faith in God. Scripture declares, "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith" (1 John 5:4). Be encouraged, God will come through for you.
