The Power of Agreement: How Men and Women Complement Each Other

Discover the value of agreement and how it can be used to create a strong and successful marriage. The woman was designed by God to supply what the man lacks. The woman was taken out of the man to minister to the needs of the man. This is a hard truth for the modern feminists.

God saw that it was not good for Adam to be alone in his purpose, so he created him a helpmeet. How the man and women complement each other is important to understand.

The man was designed for work. The woman was designed to help the man. The man that does not work frustrates his wife. That’s because the woman was created by God to help the man succeed. So, if the man does not have a handle on his identity, it can bring confusion into the marriage. If the man does not work, that provides annoyance in the relationship because the woman can’t complete her assignment to help the man.

 POWER OF AGREEMENT

There is little more powerful than getting into agreement with your wife. “Again, I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:19-20).

When God made the woman, he had the man in mind. “And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him” (Genesis 2:18). God saw the man was alone and it was not good. The man needed a companion and a helper. Men need to understand that he is incomplete alone.

HELPING THE MAN

There are things a woman can do that man can’t. When God made the woman, he made her as strong as the man within her design so she could help him. As already said, the woman has strengths the male does not possess.

The woman was designed by God to supply what the man lacks.

The male needs respect. The female can provide it.
The male needs companionship. The female can provide it.
The male needs a helper. The female can provide it.
The male needs sex. The female can provide it.
The male needs encouragement. The female can provide it.
The male needs focus. The female can provide it.
The male needs discernment. The female can provide it.
The male needs a cheerleader. The female can provide. It.
The male needs accomplishment. The female can help him get there.
The male needs quiet time. The female can provide it.   
     
The female needs love. The male can provide it.
The female needs security. The male can provide it.
The female needs a provider. The male can provide it.
The female needs a home. The male can provide it.
The female needs conversation. The male, by the grace of God, can provide it.
The female needs someone to help. The male can provide it.
The female needs someone to admire her. The male can provide it.

Both male and female are called by God with equal value but distinct differences. They were created very different but equally important in their roles. The man needs the woman and the woman needs the man. When they learn their design, strengths, and values a powerful synergy occurs within the plan of God and, together, they are unstoppable. As already said, a man is not greater than the woman because he is a man and the woman is not less than a man because she is a woman. Both male and female are called by God with equal value but distinct differences.
