False Prophets - Avoiding Jezebel's Followers

False Prophets - Avoiding Jezebel's Followers

Avoiding Jezebel's ProphetsFalse prophets from Jezebel's prophetic ministry can prophecy false words that can get you killed. Jezebel was the daughter of Ethbal, king of the Sidonians. Her father was the high priest of the goddess, Ashtoreth a female deity. She was given to wed Ahab, king of Israel, to form a covenant between the two nations. Jezebel was a wicked queen. She set out to murder the prophets of Jehovah by the thousands. The few that remained hid themselves in caves. Others compromised their prophetic ministries and gave themselves to her.

Witchcraft - How Prophets Stop Witchcraft Spirits

Witchcraft - How Prophets Stop Witchcraft SpiritsWitchcraft spirits are encountered and stopped by God's prophets. You are in a spiritual war for dominion. Apostle Paul said, “We are not wrestling against flesh and blood.” That doesn’t mean we're not wrestling. It just means we know where the battle originates. Spiritual warfare is something we cannot escape as Christians. Christ said he would build His church and the gates of hell would not prevail. However, they are still trying.

Prophetic Unction And Spiritual Discernment

Prophetic Unction And Spiritual Discernment 1Familiar spirits attack prophetic ministry. Prophetic ministry training includes discerning demonic powers and evil spirits. In prophetic ministry, prophets carry a great blessing for the body of Christ. They also have a significant responsibility guarding their ministries against demonic encroachment while avoiding familiar spirits.

As prophets mature in their ministries, they quickly learn to “wait for the unction” of the Holy Spirit before moving out in their gifting. This is how they keep defilement and spiritual corruption out of their lives and ministries. The Apostle Peter made it clear that men of God wait on the Holy Ghost, “Knowing this first that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost” (2 Peter 1:20-21).

Prophecy of the Holy Spirit was never spoken by “the will of man,” that is to say, by man's will. This is significant and fundamental in prophetic ministry. This teaches if one prophesies by faith only, without any Holy Ghost unction, then they wrongly prophesy according to their will and not Gods. This is the indicator of a presumptuous and self-willed prophet who can easily tap into deceiving spirits of divination. For prophets it's important to stay plugged in meaning don't stray from the solid foundation of biblical truth.
