Believe in God for Answered Prayers: It's Not Faith in Faith that Brings Results

The Law of BeliefIt is not the thing believed in that brings an answer to prayer, the answer to prayer happens because of the one that brings about the answer to prayer. The Bible says, “Have faith in God.” Notice it doesn't say have faith in faith.

You cannot disconnect yourself from the God of faith. This is the law of the spirit of life in Christ. He is the creator. He is the one who planned your expected end. He is your very present help in times of trouble. He is Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. He is faith answered.

Faith in faith can never bring an answer. It's not believing in believing that brings about the answer to prayer. It's believing in him that brings about the answer to prayer.

Answers to prayer are never found in the abundance of faith. Answers are not found in how loud you pray, how many Scriptures you recite, or the amount of faith you think you have. Christ taught the effective amount of faith is the size of a mustard seed. Why? Because it's not faith in the seed that brings life to the seed, it's the God of faith that brings life to the seed.

Let this sink in. It is God who answers your prayers, not your prayers that answer themselves. The Bible declares, “Delight thyself also in the LORD, and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart” (Psalms 37:4).

Many wonder why their prayers are never answered. For some, it's because they pray amiss. First, one must come to the God of faith. Not holding fast to faith in faith or belief in belief, but faith in God. It is he that sees your faith, hears your petition, and answers your prayers. The measure of a man's faith is not important because God has dealt to every man the measure of faith, not a measure of faith (Romans 12:3).

Christ described the law of the seed to explain this. And he said, “So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.”(Mark 4:26-28).

Jesus taught that the Sower sows the word (the seed of faith) in good soil. The seed then comes alive after it is planted and watered. The Sower doesn't know how a dead seed can come out of death and live. Nor does the Sower need to know how the seed came alive because the seed knows how. All the Sower needs to do is plant the seed.

The Sower doesn't put his faith in the seed, he puts his faith in the God of the seed. As already said, it is not the thing believed in that brings an answer to prayer, the answer to prayer happens because of the one that brings about the answer to prayer. Sow the word of God, it knows what to do and believe in the God of the word to bring it about.
