Every day I get stirred in my spirit when I see what's happening to God's people. Today I want to help you see how Satan is using the kingdoms of this world to enslave God's children through debt. Not only am I going to show you his strategy to enslave you I am going to teach you what to do about it. I pray that you will pass this letter on to your friends and especially your children and grand-children. Together we can help thousands of people change the way they think.
The Apostle Peter declared that you are part of a priesthood of kings. He called it a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9). So, are you a king or a slave? Did you know that you are called to take dominion of every area in your life? scri pture declares, "And God blessed them and said be fruitful, multiply, increase, subdue the earth and have dominion…" (Genesis 1:28).
Have you escaped financial Egypt yet?When God delivered His children out of Egyptian bondage he led them through the wilderness to a place flowing with milk and honey, a land of prosperity. He called that place Canaan Land. It was a land filled with adversaries that would have to bow their knee to the sons and daughters of the Most High God. It was a land of inheritance that would have to be possessed. When God instructed His servants to possess the land He meant to displace the former occupants by taking dominion over them.
The Promise Land was an interesting place that was full of various tribes. The largest tribe was the Canaanites themselves. In Old Testament times the Canaanites were the merchants of the land. Today we can liken the Canaanites to finance companies. This is a tribe of people who give you a personalized plastic card we call credit cards offering easy access to that new plasma television in exchange for a "small" transaction fee.
I am the set man at Spirit of Life Ministries in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Each Sunday after service we offer apostolic leadership training to over 40 hungry champions that want to improve their lives and make this world a better place. During one of our leadership classes a young man approached me with some good news. He had attended a class where we were discussing the fastest way to raise one's credit score to the golden number of 720 or higher. After the class he took a look at his credit card finance rate and discovered that they were charging him over 23% interest. And, yes, he got upset about it. He picked up his phone and called the company demanding an immediate reduction in rate. He asked the person on the other end of the phone, "Why are you charging me such a high interest rate when I have a consumer credit score of over 800?" The person hesitated and called for her supervisor. After a few minutes the supervisor answered and agreed to lower his interest rate to 7.99%. The young man was amazed how one phone call got his rate lowered. I was excited for this young man too. He took the time to look at his interest rate, got angry about it and made the call. A couple of weeks later he brought me the letter of reduction confirming the rate change. But wait a minute the letter also included this statement:
"If you default under any XYZ Card Agreement, your ***APR*** on all balances may increase to up to 23.990% plus the Prime Rate, or up to 28.990%, whichever is greater. Currently this corresponds to an ***APR*** of 32.240% and a daily periodic rate of 0.08833%. This higher rate will not be lower than 28.990% unless we elect a lower rate."
What? -------------------- 32.24% Interest!
In my opinion these kinds of finance rates are criminal and should provoke public outrage.
Why is it alright to charge people 32.24% interest plus all sorts of additional fees? Think about this, wouldn't it be nice to take your $500 paycheck, for example, loan it out to someone and get $820 back? "But that will never happen," you reply. No it won't because you, my friend, have to work for a living.

The infamous gangster Al Capone would have envied today's system. There was a time when only the Mafia got these kinds of interest rates and they were called Loan Sharks. Today's loan sharks have been empowered by our government and protected under the new bankruptcy laws passed by our Christian conservative Congressional friends in 2005.
Did you know that no longer can a person filing bankruptcy and have their credit card charges discharged without extensive counseling?
According to nolo.com, an Internet lawyer's public information web site, "All debtors will have to get credit counseling before they can file a bankruptcy case -- and additional counseling on budgeting and debt management before their debts can be wiped out. Some filers with higher incomes won't be allowed to use Chapter 7, but will instead have to repay at least some of their debt under Chapter 13."
To me it's interesting that financial counseling is provided "after" slavery, not before. When I was a young man it was against the law to charge such excessive interest rates but in the 1970's under the Carter administration the usury laws were changed throughout the nation.
What I just told you should upset you. In fact the chances are that you know somebody who has been crippled by financial debt and is bound in financial slavery. Maybe it's you or one of your family members. Even our nation is enslaved to debt that will be passed on to you through higher taxes, fees and inflation.
So what can you do?
First, be angry and sin not. Get passionate about your personal freedom. I say that because people never try to change anything they haven't had an emotional reaction to. It's Ok to get passionate about taking control of your life. After all, these are Canaanites you are contending with and they are robbing from you and your children.
These guys have a dominion agenda.
Get this picture in your mind, every time you use that credit card to purchase something you can't afford --you are helping build Pharaohs' pyramids. Don't believe me? Some of the largest and most expensive real estate in American belongs to financial institutions. The beast is fed through debt!
Canaanite slavery is happening in America and we must start changing the way we think about our lives. I am convinced that God wants you to take dominion of your Canaan Land. Thank God that He sent His only begotten son Jesus into this world to save us! You have been given spiritual authority and by changing the way you think you can change your life.
