I totally agree with this article. I have been feeling this way for a long time and thought that I was in rebellion or something. Thank you for telling it like it is and keeping the standards of the Lord. Big blessings your way! I am feeling helpless and feel as though I cannot make a difference. I don’t even want to go to church but I know I am not supposed to neglect the gathering of believers. I do love the bride of Christ and know his mercy is amazing but sometimes I wonder if we have made his mercy cheap…which breaks my heart. Anyway, thanks again

What if there is no rapture?

We have power in the Spirit realm that comes from our King.Only when we know who he is in us and who we are in him can we have that power.If we have an escape mentality we will not have power to change anything.Our King created this world for us and his Kingdom and it is up to us to build it.When we start building the Kingdom instead of churches things will change.Let there be reformation!!!

I often wondered if the rapture was real or not!
There’s a ‘myth’,or ‘legend’ going around christian cycles, but so far apart from some over excited individuals,I’ve seen little evidence in the bible that we indeed will be ‘zapped’ into interstellar space, leaving nothing but our clothes behind.
(BTW, does my dog get ‘zapped’ too?)

There’s not even account in the bible that says we won’t experience the tribulation!
So many are saying that God is good and never will let them experience the tribulation by removing them before that, well, did God spared you from a flue too? Did he spared your family from (though small) accidents too? from disasters and hardships? Perhaps God spared your family from dying as well?

You know, instead of talking about how bad the world is and all, and how America is going to get doomed, and how YOU are going to do something about that, why don’t YOU talk about what Jesus is planning on doing, that WE will know where we’ll be going!

It is as impossible for the normal workman to reach the lost for Christ as it is for a pastor to truly hear from God.

So apart from all my cynical questions,let me ask you this:

What information do the saints need to know, they don’t already know?

It’s not a matter of information… We have more scholars than we ever had in past history.

And perhaps that comes in line with what you’re saying. We’ve lost “the power”, and have gained an intellectual head!
Trying to be good stewards we probably lost the only thing to be held accountable for apart from ourselves,and those that are ours.

I am sorry to say that I don’t seem to know what the truth is about this maelstrom that we are in. I don’t want to have a critical spirit, but neither do I want to have a silenced voice!

We must only speak that which we hear Him speak and do that which we see Him do. This was the model that Jesus held forth. We need not to judge by appearance, but judge according to righteous judgement.

I would offer that there needs to be a convening of God’s Holy Apostles and Prophets to get the mind of the Lord!

Jonas, why not host such a convention?! There must be 50 major leaders that could take a week and meet for prayer and counsel, in order that the Church in America might be provided with a clarion call and a united strategy for this hour.

Instead, every man does that which is right in his own sight, much like Israel,as it is stated in the last chapter of Joshua. Why? Because there is such an absence of a concerted national leadership in the Church in America.

I must agree with you that it has everything to do with leadership, or the lack otherof. So go ahead Jonas and spearhead such an effort, before there is no remedy!!

Genesis 1:28 tells us that God blessed us to take dominion…not get raptured. It is time that the church take off its rapture clothes and put on the work clothes of the Holy Spirit. There will be no escaping what is to come. The church must come to grips with the fact that we are being trained to take dominion and extablish the kingdom on the earth. The church must come to realize that she is the seat of God’s government in the earth and we have a massive job to do. Come on church, let’s take charge!!!

It would be great indeed if an apostolic/prophetic convention could be taken place!
But not from 50 leaders that will ‘determine the fate of the USA; but for anyone!

Many seek to hear from God and need their brother’s encouragement and support as well as admonishing to keep going!

Why not hold a (yearly?)convention of people interested in the fate of USA, praying worshipping and seeking God?
We just need a place to gather and do that!

Should Christians become pro-active? Perhaps the times are “sifting the wheat from the weeds”. I suspect that devoted christians will be more proactive than they have been before.

Nominal christians with “divided” hearts will probably want to be more pollitcally correct.

We are in the last of the last days! Praying alone is not enough. We must take back what the devil has stolen from us. I truly believe that Obama is a fore runner of the anti-christ. I agree with Jonas and everyone in reference to prayer and speaking out. God wants the Body of Christ to cry loud and spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. We must do this in the Spirit of Love and humility, with your words being seasoned with Grace. We must come out of the four walls of our buildings and start permeating our nation. God is calling for such today.
As for empowering and equipping God has called me into this ministry. It is time saints to be empowered and equipped with the Word of God in our mouths. Stop all the rhetoric and posturing within the buildings and allow God to be God in and through you to this nation, as well as the world. We are in the Kingdom of God. So many of our leaders have a mine only ministry mentality. Also, God has called me to gather his troop for the battle here in DE. I am looking forward to what God is going to do on the east coast. It takes all of us if we just learn to be lead by the Spirit of God and work together. We are already victorious and overcomers you just have to believe God’s word and walk in it. HE THAT HATH AN EAR, LET HIM HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT IS SAYING UNTO THE CHURCHES.

You know,something I’ve noticed is that many have something to say, but few are really making a conversation..
It’s nice to agree with people, but the comment box seems filled with people wanting to share things, but few who seem willing to read it.
Forgive me if I’m wrong; if we want to enter the end times, we should become ‘as one’ at least operating as a network, trying to listen to others.
If there’s no unity amongst the prophets (and unity does not mean everyone say yes to the main article, but getting involved, and converse with eachother), we really are getting nowhere, and we should not think that the rest of the body will unite neither!

You know,one of the best churches I’ve ever visited was churches where the devil was completely ruled out of the picture!
The name was not preached, there was no emphasis on what “the devil did”, he just didn’t exist!

The bible says that he’ll flee from us if we resist him. This could also mean, resist on seeing the negative and talking about it.
In an innocent child’s mouth, the word ‘devil’ or ‘satan’ will hardly be mentioned.
What makes us so afraid of him? Why do we spend more time talking about the devil then talking about God?
Does it excite us more to speak doom over America,then to speak all the plans and future of God over this nation?

In one of my days I also uttered that “Obama was very close to the anti-christ”, because he tries to run this country without christ.
I regret that now. Speaking evil over your leaders will only come back at you!
If you curse the leader, the leader will make mistakes, and the nation will suffer for it!

The christian’s greatest pain is that obama has not yet given his life to christ, and from my heart I hope he will do so some day!

We should continue to pray for him. Because Obama does not believe in christ does not automatically mean the nation will suffer!
Look at King Nebuchadnezzar! One of the most powerful kings (Emperors you could almost say) of all times, did not know God in the beginning!
Daniel and his companions where chosen by God to reveal God to the king, since the king was a leader over the Jewish people whom he conquered their land.

It took God to slain Nebuchadnezzar for seven seasons before Nebuchadnezzar’s sanity returned,and he blessed the Most High!

If you can spare speaking ill of the fate of this country or the president, then perhaps you can use that time praying for him,and his salvation too!
It is the most important thing for us believers; to see one soul won for Christ!
Praying for his salvation may be more important, then praying against abortion or praying against all the evils that are here!

Yes, on second thought,perhaps we do should get rid of this “everything is getting worse”-mentality, and spend more on the perfection of Christ’s Kingdom!
One person once told me:
“If you keep your eyes on the problem, the only thing you’ll see is problem!”.
You should keep your eyes (your heart, the eyes of the Spirit) focused closely on God!
And you will see his mouth does not speak ill fated futures and destruction over nations.

The only reason we’re heading there, is because we did not see that God was not saying these things. We rather believed the lie to become truth, then believe the true truth.

Let us not have this time for the devil!

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17.

Meaning everything the Father of us (the childeren) gives us, is either good or perfect!
And God never changes! If he did it then, he still is the same today!

Many here have seen the strategies of the devil. I’d encourage you to start seeking for the strategies and the Good and Perfect Gifts from above; from Your Father; the father of Lights!

you’re nothing with knowing the enemies battle plan without having one yourself!
