See my comments on the last 2 topics… I just read this, and like you I feel a lot of confusion; but God still speaks today!
At least,to me He did.
Prophets?
A prophet can only speak when their ears are open, and when God has a message.

Some people say “God always has a message”, and that may be true, but a prophet is not always used to relay that message.
Like a vase, and a clay pot.

Some are like a vase,meant to put flowers in for decoration.
Me, being just a clay pot, don’t fit with flowers on my head.
Besides,”in good times the people’s ears are closed.”
And “only the sick need to see a doctor”.

This shows how little we know the kingdom of God.
As soon as times get “good”, we become comfortable, and stop seeking further.
Simple reason is because it becomes much and much harder; one needs much and much more effort to move only little more forward.

But the be truth is, some christian television stations will be uprooted soon!
Removed from broadcast.
And although they started out good, some have indeed lost their purpose.
One of the channels that I expected the least to survive (God TV), has surprisingly become one of the better channels,while TBN started out well,and indeed is slacking off a bit.

Just like you Jonas I have these days as well.

Keep speaking what God is giving you!! I too have been greived at the lack of words of warning coming from the “true prophets of God.” Before, and during the 2008 Presidential election—as I would pray, I kept hearing the Lord say “America is headed for socialism.” I knew I would hear the “true prophets of God” confirm what I was hearing. You were the only one I heard speak a confirming word to me. I do believe God will always care for His people—but, I also know we will be affected by what this nation is headed for. Are there no Christians in the nations of the world that have a socialistic government system? Of course there are! Were they affected by what happened in their nation? Yes, of course!

As far as Christian TV, I watch very little (only those programs that speak the truth) because they have become so carnal. Just as the seeker friendly church—they want to bring soft gospel—that doesn’t require change nor prepare God’s people to know the voice of their God, equip the saints for the work of ministry and to know the “day” in which we are living in. It is time for the “true prophets of God” to speak—without counting the cost—for our reward is in heaven.

I ‘m not sure what the problem is but every one seems to be blaming Obama for what you let Bush do and gave him reassurance doing by re-electing him .I guess Obama has to come with a bigger plan to try to over turn 4 trillion dollars you all let go out the door in the last three months of Bushes presidency .God may be very well turning ppl over to reprobate but it seemed to be OK for some to do certain things but because you don’t recognize the 40 year old prophecy of this day now it seems to be a problem .Some body was gonna have to do some thing ,but let’s deal with your old dead issues that were not willing to change and begin to get with the flow of God’s spirit not just the caucasian one .

Like you Brother Jonas I feel rather frustrated with many christians today. Although I am in England, the church is no different to what I hear of in the USA. We have become so lukewarm and even dead that it is like threading on eggs when speaking to some believers especially many church leaders. In our churches today the ministry of teachers and prophets are almost extinct like the dinosaurs. But, there is hope for us. The Lord says He shall build His church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it and that the wheat and tares grow together. What I have been preceiving from the Lord this last week gone is that the wheat are so fed-up with what they are seeing that instead of standing in the gap and praying they are leaving the church like the five foolish virgins. So we must not give us hope. The victory is already won and these things must come to pass so we can see the fulfillment of the Lord and scripture. Let us encourage each other to continue remain standing and fighting for our very, very wounded soilders that the Lord may restore them and that they will come back to their sences, especially the wheat that has left the church so the tares will not be allowed to continue to destory it. Also, that the blind will see and the deaf hear.

The Lord Bless You and continue to be the voice of victory. My prayer it that I will have your boldness to speak out. The culture of the country I live in is speak out and be ignored or labelled forever. So being wise as a serpent and gentle as a dove with lots of prayer is how I manage to speak and that’s not really my personality. I will much rather speak as I see things. THE LORD HELP US ALL!!!

The American government is not the Christian’s government. We are citizens of the Kingdom of God and serve an unchanging King. That is why the early church was persecuted–they served another king and not Ceasar. We are only ambassadors here.

There is no such thing as a ‘christian’ government apart from the Kingdom of God. America is not one either. Why are we wasting our time trying to change and order a heathen government? The Lord has given us work to do. Let’s get on with it!

I’ve just finished reading your thoughts concerning the “obama” stimulus plan. I have to ask you this question. What then do YOU propose should be done? Its easy to critic when you r on the outside looking in. As Pastors we are accountable for but a few hundred or maybe a thousand or so members, but can u imagine what it must be like to have to be resposible and please millions of people!!And to your comments concerning the “silence” of the prophets and the leaders..what about the “silence” of the last eight years under the “Bush” administration!Wher were the comments then and the total outrage of “having one of those days!!!when sons and daughters;innocentwomen and children were being killed by the silence of many!
Personally i think that it is too much too shoulder on just one group of people to be held responsible for something that is ultimatlly out of their hands. Because what many fail to remember”GOD HAS THE FINAL SAY!!! and HE IS GOING TO HAVE HIS WAY!!!!
I did not vote for a savoir because i already have one,I didnt vote for a stimulus package because i serve a God who “owns a cattle on a thousand hills.
No i do not agree with homesexuality and abortion, but lets not forget that our churches are filled with them.Whether in secret or not!We do not live in a bubble, we are living in the last days. Perilous times are here but as a christian i must remain focused on what really is going on.So lets not bash and turn on one another because we may not veiw things the same but lets endever to keep the bond of peace between saints. Pray instead of complaining. And let GOD do what He does best and thats BEING GOD.

This is what I see and I see and hear it in my own church. The new president wants to be all things to all men and now I see this being played out in the Church. I am also grieved, we do have prophets but I see that the church does not want to hear what they say and so their mouths are closed. In my city there are a few of us who are struggling to stay on track following the Spirit but only a very few and we have been told we are wrong in what we say. How can Jezibel be taken out what it is embraced by the christians who are living in a false kind of love. I am another who is having a day and have been for a while. I wonder why the church has become so tolerant to sin. Marge

This is the word that God is giving our church: He said, What you are seeing in the economy is My hand. I am regulating the economy and exposing the corruption in all industries and systems (church, economy, etc.) The recession will NOT end until 2012, no matter how much money is put in. Times will be so bad that people will literally run out of food and other necessities. – God also told us that we (Christians) will be like the land of Gershim, that everything we need will be in our camp. This does not mean that some of us won’t lose our jobs, etc, but it does mean that within our unity our basic necessities will be provided met.

** This is a VERY POWERFUL time for the church. It is the time for the transfer of wealth. For Christians that are prepared, stocks will be at an all time low, programs will open up to allow people to open businesses, and the crisis is going to bring people back into the church. Also this time will weed out the “Christians” who don’t have the fruits of the Spirit and those who do, by the amount of love they display. Many debts are going to be reduced, and ministries will finally be able to purchase schools and buildings at reasonable prices.

** There is a lot more, but I send this as an encouraging word. God is speaking to the churches, even little ones like ours. He is speaking about the economy and giving answers if we are listening.

The Lord told me in 2004 to begin speaking to those who have the spiritual receptivity to hear and understand what He was saying in this hour. I had written articles of warning for years only to have comments from those who love to have their ears tickled.

There is a remnant that is heeding to the voice of God. They understand that the creation is moaning and groaning (volcanoes, earthquakes, title waves, murders, rapes, parents killing their children, etc.) as it waits for the sons of God to awaken and fulfill their purpose in Christ.

Many are standing with suitcase in hand waiting for the return of Christ. For them it will be a whole “Left Behind” series.

False comfort and lethargy within the Body of Christ has become prevalent within God’s people. Many have looked to a man to help them out of their present condition rather than God. They have voted according to their pocket books, their prejudices, and lack of discernment.

There is a people; black, red, yellow and white that will stand up in and through Christ. They will be the answer to a lost and dying world; however, this won’t happen without an intense war. We are already seeing this war arise. The Spirit of the Lord is resting strong upon the remnant and they will stand strong and not be moved.

False comfort has been the incentive for the multitude. The Lord will prevail in and through a people who have a spiritual backbone to NOT back down when even their own brethren throw stones at them.

I’ve been disturbed at what I read from the so called “prophets” of our times. And burdened so much for our country. Remember it rains on the just and unjust.

I have check mega ministries web sites and have read all my Christian emails looking for comments on this very subject. I thought I was the crazy one. I hear prophets/ministers on TV “saying we are ok,,God has a been and it’s all good,I server a good God.” But you know, our God is also just. He is not a sugar daddy..he is Abba Father our creator who is all holy and can’t stand the sight of sin. Yes His merciful but their is judgement at the end if we don’t turn toward Him and against the ways of this world. By the way we are just passing through, this is not our home. So why are we so at home here??????? answer that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God spoke to me 5yrs ago this spring that the days of Joseph is coming. hmmmmmmm I believe that, i know He spoke it more than once to me. over and over until 1 day stopped what I was doing, which was stocking the pantry at our church.
Firgured i best be quiet and get more information. Noting till 3 yrs ago in the summer He then added to it. The night of our elections He said this 1 and only word to me, “those that vote for Ogama, will be sorry they did in 3 months. What He spoke to me in the summer 3 yrs ago is upon us. There will be breakthroughs for some, the the opposite for others. Thats all I am going to say.

This is truly an historic time that we have entered into. I say, AMEN and AMEN to all that The LORD is doing! Let YOUR Kingdom come, and YOUR will be done…even in the Most Holy Name of Jesus the Christ!

It’s funny Jonas; you called for prophets, and you get a whole blog full of comments ..
But it’s also good!
Many are rusted, from not being able to speak up, and need a window to let out, and re-practice/re-learn whatever they have learned before.
It is true that many churches become denominational, and direct themselves towards structure.
This even more closes doors for those whom God had chosen as prophets. Not only cause many worries, and hard work these people to hear God less, but even now in the one place that should stimulate and encourage these gifts, they are shutting them down.
Many know that it’s a Jezebel spirit; and the spirit of the Anti-Christ that has been given a door in the church.
A couple of weeks ago God gave me a very simple revelation about the Anti-christ.
The anti-christ, is basically any power, form, company or governement that tries to serve and be without Christ as the head.

Anti-christ could also mean “Without christ”, and today many churches are just simply closed to challenging prophets, brining up apostles and evangelists.
Partly is the congregation, but the one most responsible is the God appointed head(s) of the congregation!
If the head(s) make clear to the congregation that there is a door, where people could come and enter; where they need to let go of self, and let God flow through them, we’d see more prophets today!
But just like in Elijah’s time there are many prophets hidden in the rocks, fleeing and hidden from Jezebel.

I would second what Jonas said; if you feel limited in your church,and don’t feel that there’s a window of opportunity for God to work through you; maybe it’s time to search around!
I’ve wasted 4 years in 2 churches never being recognized for God’s call on me,apart from doing the soundboard on the back of the church.
Those where 4 years of patience and endurance!
But they came to an end!
If church starts getting into the way between you and God you should start thinking about alternatives,and don’t let it come to a point where you’ll be stuck for many years “waiting on God”.

I have done a little search about prophets and prophect, as well as false prophets..
I’ll plainly give you the verses:
- Micah 2:6
- Jeremiah 14:14, 23:16-33, 50:36
- Lam 2:14
- Ez 13:9

I want to encourage you to read these texts, as prophecy is something that should be done with care, lest we will receive rejection by God!
God is very serious about prophecy, and so should we.

I do not consider myself a prophet, neither has anyone ever told me I am. But I do believe God has used me in the past to speak His word, including through prophecy.

The fact that this nation is getting to socialism is not the end of this nation!
we’ll still live; God will still be here!
But it should merely help us to find focus on God!

LaToya L., I’d admonish you in your prophecy; be very careful in what you say,lest you say what God has not said!
But also for myself, some things can be obvious, but some prophecies can be imperfect and hard to trace the imperfection of it!
It should help us to become more sharp,more focused, and make less flaws.
In the old testament they’d chop of your head if you prophesied incorrectly!

And about what system we are getting into, that does not matter!
Some think capitalism will give them joy, others socialism!
But either way, none of them are a guarantee of a good running society, apart from God’s governement in a nation.
The only fault we are doing is taking God away from the nation,with all consequences there after…

I am saddened by this newsletter ,just 3 years ago discovered your ministry and have sown your books and teachings into the lives of churches and belivers individually. By the boxes.This is the 1st time I have really seen you so outspoken against a President and our government. Our church “WINDS OF CHANGE MINISTRY” has for several years now had a weekly prayer for leaders of this nation, state, and locality. I am an African American Pastor and in this election I discovered that there needs to be a deep healing in the body over the matter of racism. I believe the prophetic voice needs to Cry loud and spare not but brother “there is a time and season for all things and “NOW IS NOT THE TIME” I live in a small city in Ohio and thousands have lost their jobs and possibly many more. True Prophets are aware that the USA will not escape the judgment of a loving God for all the abortions greed and corruption that has flourished for years with little or no outcry from the church simply because they were republican whites. As a Pastor I saw a divide in the church over this election that had nothing to do with conservative beliefs. A few white believers were open and honest which allows us to address the issue of racism. Our congregation attacked this evil spirit by exposing its roots hatred. Together we watched a Christian documentary called “REAL ROOTS “It gave us a real revelation about race, our creator, and his handiwork. Brother if there is ever a time the church needs to pray harder than ever for the mercy of God it is “NOW” We will surely not escape in this country which has turned away from the truth to follow other Gods while the church sits in silence in prayer and outcrys.We as the people of God need to humble ourselves and pray turn from OUR wicked ways, racism greed immorality….. OUR CHURCHES VOID OF HOLINESS AND POWER. Before we cry loud we had better allow the Lord to reveal to us the hidden iniquities of our own heart Please don’t blame President Obama who is in office for only a few weeks for a lack of prayer and repentance in the church. Had we been the glorious church Jesus died for us to be doing our part and being effective we would have been making known the manifold wisdom of God over our communities we should have had enough power through fasting and prayer to break the presence of every evil influence over our home, community, and nation!!!!Do as the word instructs us to do FIRST PRAY, cynical criticism that will only be read by a limited amount of readers will create NO REAL CHANGE. If you are commissioned to the White House to give a Thus sayeth the Lord then do so but until them we all need to discern the day we are in and Pray that there will be laborors for this harvest that will surly come as this nation is judged. I wouldn’t get frustrated. I believe God is stirring up the church of kingship after all the world belongs to the children of man (ps 115:16)so we have to take it by force, I know I will.

My comments will be brief. I feel that we are in an era where the prophets are taking the few keys words that the Lord is speaking and believing that they must “turn-out” at least three paragraphs. So, I’ll just share what he said, showed and asked.
The day of the election, during the time of fourth watch. the Lord spoke and said “When the boy pharoah is in power–be concerned about his advisors.” Needless to say, I knew how the election would turn out!
Two nights later, I had a vision where I saw wild horses stampeding. I thought it might be connected to the maverick theme of the McCain-Palin ticket.
Two nights later, the Lord asked me “What shyed the horses?”
In the context of Zechariah 10:3 we had all better get “shyed” and run toward kingdom purposes.You are not alone in your reaction to all this-But I truly believe it will take these unacceptable things for the horses to be shyed!

I am not a prophet either. I just want to relay what God is saying in our local church though the congregation and the leaders. Just some encouragement and maybe confirmation for those are hearing the same. But all prophecy should be weighed and tried.

Why do these things surprise us? Jesus, Paul & others told us that this is the way it would be in the End times and it is. This a contrived, unpopulated, agenda by the global elite to bring the United States superpower to her knees and become much less then she has been. Since 911, The New World Order is in full swing and is snowballing day by day. It started with national security and now they have pulled the plug on the economy.
Now there is a push to get people so angry over the in-your-face financial rip-off of the American public, the loss of thousands of jobs and retirement accounts, that the public will take to the streets in violence. Some say that’s not possible, yet as I type this comment, I am watching it happen all over the world. The next step is the formation of the “North American Union” and it is well underway. President Bush, Clinton, Bush and now Obama are all following the same script. The CFR’s plan for the North American Union can be found online. I printed it out 4-5 years ago and have been telling people about it since then, but most don’t want to hear it. Americans don’t want their lifestyle altered and who in their right mind does, but it’s time to face reality.

US Evangelical Christians and churches (once called Protestant) has been dumbed down so much, they cannot answer the most basic Bible questions. So-called TV preachers are mostly spewing out self-help, feel-good, life-enhancement pop-psychology. The church growth movement has brought much corruption and compromise to the church willing to forsake truth for the sake of so-called evangelism.

So the world government, world church, etc. are in formation. Yes I believe we should fight darkness and occupy ground on behalf of real evangelism, but not for our American lifestyle.

Jonas, keep up the good fight. I know it gets discouraging but consider Jesus!

Continue to cry out and spare not. You are hearing the voice of the Father as we face some real issues in our economy. God is waiting to open our ear to hear what the spirit is saying to the church. Please do not stop telling the truth because it is saving lives in the Body of Christ. I stand in agreement with you and there are many others too. Be encouraged!

Here’s my response to your latest email concerning your frustration due to the lack of boldness of our prophets. And I would like to add pastors as well . I am sure all this is happening just as Jesus the Great Prophet said would come to pass, “…that in the last days MANY will come in my Name… and will decieve many!” That is to say that many within the Body of Christ will preach and teach many things…but will not speak on what the Lord God would have them to SAY concerning matters of the Nation and the ill direction that it is headed. Instead they want to LOOK GOOD for the cameras and for the people that follow them. God did not call us to Look Good, He called us to SPEAK THE WORD OF TRUTH, no matter how people might feel about it.

there is a shift getting ready to take place in the atmosphere….the dam is getting ready to break…..a spiritual tidal wave (tsunami) some will be destroyed…some will surrvive…those that are skilled in surrvival and mastered the art of living a holy life……like John the baptist…elijah…elisha…that have followed their master and let nothing get in their way of carrying out the plan of God…they ate..slept..breathed…gods plan….are we ready for the kind of revival we have been praying for? James 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself ye do well….are we loveing our enemies? are we praying for those who persecute us and abuse us? are we loving the unlovable? until we are willing to sacrafice like the apostles did for the day of pentecost we will not reap that revival, we will miss the blessing unless we partake of the sowing..

The Lord showed me a vision while praying one night in the prayer room at my church…the prayer room was full of wheat and tall to the cealing..he spoke to me and said,”THIS IS A CELESTIAL HARVEST” the endtime harvest…the purest of them all..an advanced state of love and charity the church has never seen..the agape love of Jesus christ where a man will lay down his life for his brother…we are at the appointed time of the blowing of the trumpets soon this harvest is the greatest the world has ever seen and if we dont sow into the harvest we wont reap of it..love your enemies do good to those who hate you pray for those who spitfully use you..for the kingdom of god is at hand and there is a remnant of powerful warriors who are going to serve god “NO-HOLDS-BARRED” no restrictions, no rules!!!!! this is a great company of millions…he showed me this in 2005 before katrina hit…and before the tsunami hit i had a dream of an earthquake under the ocean and people were falling in everywhre…that is not the biggest one yet..there is one greater coming..and yes my calling is a prophetess/evangelist…and as the person said above people have stifled the prophets office..and calling..we are shoved to the side because men dont want to really hear from god or they would establish the 5 fold ministry like it should be..but God is making room for the apostles and the prophets and his evangelist..the ones he truely called and have not rode the coattails of mama and daddy!

Part of the success of socialism is the requirement of apathy by the people. Socialism can only be successful if the people allow it and because there has been no dissenting voices (that have been heard anyway) government is allowed to get bigger and bigger. We (Christians) grumble in disgust when, once again, our taxes are raised but then we don’t do/say anything about it. We wait for somebody else to be the voice. We should be ashamed of ourselves because we have allowed this to happen and done nothing to stop it. We will not be protected from the economic crisis and upcoming shaking. Many christians will be victimized by it. God does protect us in so many ways, many of which we are unaware of…but He won’t protect us from our own stupidity. We must learn from it; so God in His soverignty (sp)is allowing us to suffer the consequences of our own undoing. Please let’s learn from it this time. I pray that from this crisis voices that have long been silent will shake this nation back onto the foundation of truth that it fallen from. I have no problem being one of them and I am prepared to take whatever punishment God has for me for my part in the neglect that we, the Christian community, have perpetrated toward the degradation of this nation.

In response to your venting, Jonas, I would like to write the following. Although not a popular or easy task, as a prophet of the Lord, a True prophet that is, I would like to respond to your venting.(I say a True Prophet with reverential fear and respect for the things of the Lord)( A TRUE prophet only because I speak what Jesus says and not my own opinions or doctrine etc. Although a Canadian, we are very aware of our U.S. sister nations’ many various concerns.And many are now asking what is happening and not just in the U.S.A. Why? When True believers, and especially Leaders really begin to search out the scriptures it is so wonderfully and clearly spelled out in the Words’ of Jesus Christ in red! Every event was prophesied by the King of the Kingdom Himself.He never declared that the last days would be wonderful. We are heading into a One World System of both Government and Religion, to be overseen by the Anti-Christ Himself, and Ministers and Church Leaders are asking What? Why? How? etc.?! As you have so Truly taught, yourself, that Pastors’ whose main gifts are to comfort, councel and encourage the sheep, and that they do not have the authority to run and to oversee the church as the Apostles and Prophets do,however Pastors have been and do indeed run the church, with True Prophets of the Lord having to ask permission to bring forth any Word that they do have, to deliver, TRUE ones that is,why are you so surprised? The True Prophets that were trying to declare what the Word of the Lord has been declaring all along have not only been (stifled) in bringing forth the TRUE Words, of the Lord, as well they have not been Allowed to do so, and they still aren’t. When they do bring forth a True Word that does not “TICKLE” the ears of the Pastor and Sheep, they are called Legalistic, Overbearing, Judgmental Critical and Unloving, or at the very least Wrong or False! All Word’s that are allowed, must be good, kind, gentle, and loving only, or a “Big Not Allowed Sign” is posted by Pastor’s and any other Leaders that may be wanting to stay in their Ministries, while staying in sin etc.We have been steeped in an entire Generation that wants Jesus without Correction, Rebuke, (when warranted) And Warnings, direct from the Lord Himself! We as a modern new age type of church have relegated the (OFFICE) of the (True Prophets) to an ear tickling, bless me only ministry,that is only allowed to Comfort, Exhort and Bless People,no matter what sin and or filth they are steeped in! I have watched for many years as Pastors and other church leaders have criticised, cut down, and shut up the voices of the TRUE prophets of the Lord. They have contained much more than a “comforting” Word for many. The church is steeped with sinners all professing the name of Jesus, with prophets watching and seeing much of the hidden sin right in the Lords’ house, but yet all the while, under gag orders of Don’t Say, JUST PRAY!! So in turn this has caused a generation that contains false prophetic words etc. Prophets I say this while completely aware of the fact that just because a True Prophet is seeing sin, does not give him license to handle any of the things he sees irreverently either! Please hear that! If leaders in the church would have the courage to move aside and let the True Prophets begin to speak, wow! What an eye and ear opening event that “will” be. It may only begin to happen however as the Lord Himself restores “Reverential Fear” and Respect to His church and His people! Enter, the “Shaking,” spoken of powerfully in the book of Hebrews, or will that teaching be refused also?! He is coming back soon! Oh and by the way, we will be made ready, if we are in fact Wise Virgins!… Hope this answers some of the reasons for asking where are the True Prophets of God? PROPHETIC INSIGHT – GODS JUDGEMENT IS HIS GRACE…

Well. I happen to know alot about the prophetic and prophets. I went to a prophetic ministry college under some very well known prophets and, I must say this…

God shuts the ears of prophets and will let them prophesy according to their immaginations like found in ezekiel….on top of that i think the prophetic has been way too over pastored and controled.

People say if it doesnt encourage and edify and comfort then we dont give prophetic words. Well…

What happened to judgement words? I agree with accountability and having covering but Gods judgement is his grace. I agree with having balance between blessing and correction as well. but…

Too many sugar filled prophetic words without a good healthy dose of a discilpine filled word of correction will make a fat, lazy, out of shape church…remember God disciplines those that he loves.

I feel that the prophetic concerning the hearing of what God is doing has been so over-controled that we may be in a place where it says in scripture that God will cause the prophets to prophesy to the idols in peoples hearts and then judge the prophet for it.

We have stepped into hopeful declarations rather than Gods double edge words.

I was part of the brownsville revival for 8 years and I believe what the church needs is some repentance that goes past being skin deep. Every revival has always been preceeded by repentance which leads to holiness and without holiness you cannot see God, that is scripture. So if we are not seeing enough of God in our midst maybe its because God isnt seeing enough repentance and holiness in our midst…but people reject holiness because they see it as religious and as it is a threat to their lukewarm areas in their hearts. Jesus is coming back for a pure spotless bride not some weak half beaten up bride trying to hold up under what the world throws at it like we are now. We need to get back to prayer…

Until then the cry of the world will outweigh the cry of the church. It is when the cry of the church rises up and fills the bowls of intercession for God to pour out his moving upon our nation. The cry of the church must drown out the cry of the world and I have lately been hearing alot about people losing houses, savings, retirements, cars etc.

God is taking america through a stripping process and we will soon be naked. Will we try to cover up like adam with our fig leaves and be cast away or will we repent and say God restore me and let his presence dwell in our nation with Godly leaders who will prepare the way of the Lord?

Time will only tell…remember all prophetic words are, ( ALWAYS CONDITIONAL! )

Corrie Ten Boom asked the pastors in China after WW2 what they would do different and they all said–not teach the rapture. Obama, Bush, Kerry, Gore, Clinton–they are all part of the same crowd–Rhodes scholars, IMF, CFR. Obama is just the next one–even McCain is CFR. I vote abortion and gay rights and pray for the best. Gary Kah wrote a book in 1992 “Enroute to Global Occupation” that detailed the planned demise of the stock market, etc. Satan has his plan, but it must be submitted to the fulfillment of the Word of God. Pastor Jonas, While many of us do not have the platform to express our feelings about the world, we have not given up. The big question now is where is the church and who is holding the line? I give it to the Catholic Church for holding the line on abortion and the Mormons are getting hammered in California regarding Prop 8 (even today) but where are the rest of us? I recently relocated and have attended several spirit filled churches but not one of them has preached the word of God regarding God, gay marriage and abortion. I believe the fear of man has become stronger than our fear of God. Jezebel runs loose in the Church because we allowed it. We have embraced her.
While Pres. Obama was not my choice, he is now my president and I will pray for him while he is in office. But where are the pastors who lead the sheep? Where is the truth from the pulpit?

We are living in an age where the prophecies of the Word of God are ringing true; Wars and rumors of wars; mothers against daughters and daughters against mothers; fathers against sons and sons against fathers; famines, pestilences and diseases that are so swift and deadly that there’s not enough time to place a name to them; and lastly, we have elected a person as Commander-In-Chief who has a specific goal in mind, which is to establish a New World Order. Does that no say enough?! It is time for the true people of God to begin to speak out against the monstrosity of going along with a stimulus plan that’s worth over eight billion dollars! Every year I look for the Prophets to talk about next year on any source civilized internet wise. I carefully watched as many of the prophesies left the internet and this is the first time I suspect censorship. Before the election many postings were around but the ones left are cleaned up to represent neutrality. This Saul mention is probably perfect. I saw some talk of an event to make great correction, such as a godly prayer answered move. But you surely know that the move of God needs believers , the word and action . The wages of sin are death to this ungodly activity and the judgement of sin is surely being hastened. Fortunately we who hear the voice of god can know what to do and when to do it. The Bible says all this has to come to pass. If we try to stop it we may end up losing more people. Our grand children won’t know anything about Jesus or God the way things are going. However Jesus did say will there be any that believe when he returns. That is bad. The book of revelation tells us about a charismatic person, and how he got elected was strange, but the real worry is his past connections with occult faith. Pray and bind the devil and his demons. You know? Over the years I have noticed that people generally only listen to encouragements, not warnings!
Yes,perhaps our hearts are lukewarm, yes perhaps we are far from where we supposed to be; but a frustrating pastor preaching all his frustrations through loud shouting to his congregation all condemnations is not the answer to true repentance.
Perhaps in the past it has happened to work, but times are different!
People now need encouragement; pastors that cheer for them on the sidelines,while they run the race. Something to look forward to, to be reminded of when they forget.

Pastors or apostles that encourage the works and talents God gave us, as well as remind us that it’s all about loving God, and loving each other,like Jesus said.

I believe in this latter times there will be an explosions of apostles, sent by God. Men and women, traveling the world from continent to continent.

The world has too many distractions to successfully finish the race alone.
We need each other!

So yes, a revival comes from true repentance, but repentance comes not from thunder preachings, overloading the new believer with rules.

It is God who directs the hearts of men, that includes the revivals (of many souls).

that oppose this craziness is Rush Limbauch, and he is getting hammered. Which I suspect is the problem!

Every organization and leader that has risen up to take a stand has been annihlated by the left and the media, and even the religious..I’m noticing. And in the mean time many of our leaders have fallen! This really is war, and the enemy has manuvered very cleverly.

We have very few men in the position to speak and be heard. Maybe God is putting this fire in your tank, so that you will be one of those voices. The Apostolic Office is to bring the Kingdom government to earth….hallelujah…Go for it!

We have many prophets who warn, but we need those who will speak forth the voice of the Lord to establish Kingdom rule into the atmosphere of America. Like Ezekiel who was told to prophecy to the dead bones and they became an army!

I have over the last couple of years (since I accidentally ? found your website) been treated to some wonderful teaching and it is so unselfishly shared, too, by you!!! Having learned much here helps me in my daily life. Lately I have been caregiving for my husband 24/7 and am not always able to leave home, especially at churchtime. So my church is you, Brother Perry Stone and a handful of trusted others. I see that there are many prophetic voices going forth today but not all seem to come from the Lord.

People are being bombarded on all sides by way too much information and many Christians are “stunted” in their growth, either by lack of good foundational teaching or lack of opening the Bible and praying on their own. Therefore they have become afraid of what is happening on the earth and are in (dare I say it) “denial.”

Please know that I am especially interested in your good, BALANCED, teaching and appreciate it SO much!!! All the people who have commented here seem to be coming along pretty well in their Christian lives. I always think of the 7,000 who had not bowed to Baal but were unknown to the prophet. Perhaps we need to be more grateful for those who are true servants of the living God.

The message for the hour today is to the church, REPENT. Pray against the 5 kings. Except we bind the strongman, you cannot destroy his house. The same spirits over those 5 kings have been working against the church to immobilize the body of Christ. We need to avenge, vindicate the body of Christ so the church will once again become a respected entity to be reckoned with and will rise with the power and love of Christ, again. It is time for the intercessors, to rise up and become the Apostolic Avengers they were called to be and vindicate the body of Christ and set the captives, free.

As humans, it alright to get frustrated sometimes as long as we don’t stay that way.
We must all remember that GOD is still in control and will always be, regardless of all the worldly activities we are seeing unfold daily. Personally, I think that praying about the situation would be far greater than talking or complaining. Pray for the adulterer, warmonger, greedy, homosexual, liar, prostitute, fornicator, abortionist, alcoholic, envious, etc. These are the ones who need to be ministered to the most. Pray for those who are in government do what is right and fair for the people who dwell here. I’m a Christian and I separate myself from (worldly man) government wicked rule. God rules. These things will pass, but GOD’s word will stand forevermore.

This is the day of Elijah again, at first it was John the baptist preparing the way for the Lord’s first coming now we are the Elijah/John’s of today, preparing for His second coming. The Bible does tell us to plead for the widows, for the poor and fatherless and to execute righteous judgment! Isaiah 1:17. So let us continue to cry loud, spare not and lift up our voice like a trumpet.

The word also says pray for our kings, government and all of those that are in authority. Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them, Eph.5;11.

Thank you for the newsletter I receive from you and your ministry. The Lord has put a burden in my heart to intercede for our nation. I truly believe many of us have difficulty Believing that God Almighty wants us to take the land and subdue it. Since the beginning in the garden, God told Adam and Eve to take dominion over the earth and subdue it. Yes, we fell into sin, but when Jesus came to die for our salvation, he also came to give us powerful authority to take over the earth. Let us get our eyes off the wicked giants and Slay them with the same Sword King David slayed the Philistine giant that came against the children of Israel, God’s people!!! We need to use the Power and Authority Jesus died to give us as well. We need to engage in more spiritual warfare. Do we really believe we are in God’s Army or not? Hi Brother Jonas, yes i hear the voice of The Holy Spirit Speaking Through you and i too am a revolutionary believer when it comes to Gods Kingdom! It’s time for our Leadership in the church to wake up! It like people are sleep walking and decideng to deafen their hearing to the voice of The Holy Spirit, cause He is speaking! The question is who is listening?? I don’t know Brother Jonas i am just plain frustrated at the disobedience, hard hearts, and lukewarm attitudes. The judgement of God is here and He will be Glorified and His plan will succeed, He is still The sovereign Lord, and i will do all i can to be of His truth and light! To God be the Glory!!!

You know what I see in Christian people, the need to judge a person. It’s not an “Obama” stimulus plan, it takes more than one man to agree with the stimulus plan or come up with the contents of the stimulus plan. Yes he is the president so be respectful and call him Mr. President as you would do any other president. Second, I didn’t hear any one talking about the 700 billion bailout that President Bush signed for the auto industries, where are the comments and the church folks disgreeing with that. I am certain in the bible that God requires that we help the poor, orphans and the widows not big businesses that are making millions while the little hourly guys are trying hard to provide for their families. Third, abortion, homosexuality,what about adultery, lust, pride and so many other sins that can’t be put into law, what about those people? It’s a sin. Homosexuality and abortion is up to a person’s moral belief and thier God. God doesn’t force anyone to choose him or the right path that he laid out, it’s up to that person yet he longs for their soul and gave up his only son and our savior, Jesus for us all and those who BELIEVE. Everyone will have to meet with Jesus face to face and abortion and homosexuality will be a part of judgement but also prejudice, anger, pride, lust, covetness, etc. We are to pray for those that may have had abortions or contemplating abortion, pray for those that are having confusion with their sexual identity not condemn because we all have sin. It is just not where everyone can see and Jesus died for all us not just for some but all. So stop making it out to be President’s Obama’s plan and pray to God that his will be done not the will of the people. And God’s word gave examples after examples about judges in the land and how God took care of the situation. How about we let God be God and do our part as lifting up america, our president, our neighbors,etc in prayer. If God need to raise up a Nathan (prophet) and Samuel (prophet) Isiah (prophet) and many more, he will and can. Don’t be a Jonah but be like Christ that he fellowshiped with tax collectors, he let a sinful woman washed he feet with her tears and hair. God is love and we should be more of love and not of condemnation and judgement. If it’s a burden stay on your needs until God gives you an answer or gives you peace. But God is in control. No matter what it look like.

He spoke to us that Obama would be President of the U.S. He declared to us, that Obama is not a King, nor is he chosen to restore the Church, he is appointed and set in position (over this American nation) to engage especially that of foreign governments (and many other things that I will not be able to elaborate at this time). Everything about Obama, God is going to use for his glory and for the advantage of the Kingdom of God (particularly that of the gospel message going forth) that must reach the most devastating and “uttermost” parts of the earth – Iraq, Iran, Saudia Arabia, etc…I know that Christians are focused on Israel, but God has lots, and lots of souls in these Arabic/Islamic nations that oppose the true and living God and are anti-Christ in their beliefs. However, there are some that desperately are looking for answers. Despite what we think, God is going to make inroads in these nations for His sole purpose. On an international agenda President Barack Hussein Obama will be able to engage in nations especially that of the Islamic and Hindu cultures. These are the “souls” (especially those that have been oppressed and devastated) that God is reaching in this last hour. (Don’t forget it really is all about the Kingdom of God and the salvation of souls, souls, souls!) Everything that America hated about Mr. Obama, God is going to use…his name, his ethnicity, his age, his inexperience and his liberalism (yes, his political stance)- just to show our true selves…hateful, evil, and wicked within. America is a nation that crys for God in times of tragedy, but truly hates Him as Lord. Remember God may not be into politics or elections (as some may think) but He is into governments as with King Nebuchadnezzar, Elijah/Jezebel/Ahab…and He can influence the hand of ALL governments and nations. One of the reasons that the true prophets of God, the Body of Christ (CHRIST-ians) are having a hard time receiving this is because they are looking for Obama to be “righteous, and a perfect Christian, with the perfect agenda and policies” ..if that was the case, he would have chosen YOU or one of our great Christan leaders. This is what the Spirit of the Lord also spoke to us…The entire world is going to experience such vast devastation, terror, crisis, disasters, economically and environmentally. However, over time, the wickedness, evil and terror will implode from within. Evil cannot contain itself, it will eventually erode and corrode from within. However, not until the Kingdom of God is challenged to it’s core, and the world looks for help, not in her governments, but to God. And the “true” church of God that has allowed God to cleanse, lead, guide and direct her in this hour – will lead the way. For a short time, God will reveal himself to these hard-to-reach nations. Every part of the world will be effected by these things and yes, even the Christian but we will be like the land of Goshen (kept). And yes, we are in a recession (don’t believe the politicians when they say that we are not). The economic stimulus package will not answer the overhelming decline of the world’s economy. Hear the Word of The Lord, “we will be in this economic decline for about 3 years…corruption from within every industry and political and secular organizations and systems of governments will be exposed…and yes, even the church”. The earth, the world is in a collision with God. God must reveal himself as Jehovah to a world that challenges and “wonders” if there truly is a God. He alone must do this, and He is – He will bring an answer. This power He has given to His Son Jesus to give to the church by the power and authority of the Holy Spirit. God’s power is still among us, however we as true Christ-ians have been blinded for the last 20 years by our own PRIDE, LUST AND GREED and our most beloved desire for PROSPERITY. True prosperity and wealth is covenant, inheritance and legancy with God as sons, daughters and joint heirs – only when we obey Him. The true prophets of God in our time have been silenced and held in captivity to the “NEW ORDER” of the church…SELF!!! Few leaders desire a “true” prophet in their pulpits. Would God really be speaking to us about larger buildings, more money, houses and cars in such a crucial time in the Body of Christ and in the world. Be encouraged, God still have those, that hear, obey and He soon will send them out. WE must first be renewed in obedience, Godly fear and reverence to God, before we can bring God’s timely agenda to the earth in this hour. Lastly, there will be a voice coming from the church…and it will have the ear of the government and the church to help influence the nations into the plan of God (remember we are priests). This will not come until you see Holy Spirit begin to yet again, chastise and rebuke His leaders (who’ve gone astray and live and thrive in corruption). We the church have cancer and we are very sick…God will heal and revive us again from the head leadership to the lay person bringing us together as unified body. However, God must first overturn the corruption before He brings the wealth of the wicked to the just. And I don’t mean just money. I mean the influence of the church as true kings and priests – to show a dying world the way to the One, true and living God. He is also going to correct, chastise, rebuke, judge His churh for her error(s), her harlotry, spirit of division, compromise and complacency. Beloved, God will have his church, in the earth before she is “caught-up”. However, He will again re-align, restore the love to “obey”, “hear” and “receive” HIS WORD. This is the prophetic word given to Israel in the time of prosperity, this is the word NOW! – “if you obey and hearken diligently”. Also, the love for the WORD OF GOD to change and to transform the life and very nature of souls will be restore to the Body of Christ. Remember it is the WORD OF GOD that will stand FOREVER. However, not without violence, persecution and spiritual warfare. Holy Spirit is unctionizing and summoning a body of believers that will LISTEN and not be afraid to carry out this example of Christ in the church and into the world – with much fasting and prayer (as with Daniel). He is reviving the Body of Christ with the power of His Word (both in the apostolic, prophetic and teacher) The “true” church will rise in this hour…simply because she must! In the midst of crisis, the church will rise again as the “true” example of Christ – in humility and in love. This is God’s promise to Himself, and He will not fail in His mission!

Despite your personal opinions (as Godly as they are)pray for Obama, governments and international leaders. God can change the heart of any leader. Remember our faith is in GOD and not in man.

It is so true that we, as the Body of Christ, Must intercede and repent of our forefather’s sins and ours! I say it like this because as I was interceding in the spirit the Holy Spirit told me to include myself like Nehemiah and Daniel did. I too, feel what you are feeling. Many of us are.
I do believe God gave this nation the man for President that they wanted. It might have been possible for us as Christians to turn the tide, but we were not united. Many Christians voted, not according to Biblical principles, but based on their political party or on economic principles, and so I believe our collective vote had no power to make the difference. I understand the historicity of the event – having our first black president, but my
heart cannot rejoice seeing already some of the laws that have been changed, like the laws that Obama recently reversed on abortion. Should we really
celebrate the fact that now it is even easier for more abortions to take place?
As you said, we are living in the days of Jeremiah. Deception has gone out over the entire land. Many prophets speak peace, whereas a sword touches the throat. And the Lord had said, “My people love to have it so – but what will you do at the end?”

Prophets usually have a zeal that burns their bones. Even in Scriptures you will find that many had character issues like any other human being. However, they all had in common boldness to accomplish their God given purpose. Therefore, it should not be to any seasoned believer a surprise that Brother Jonas vented. On the other hand it does not take away from the reponsibility to deliver the message from God with utmost reverence, purity, responsibility and accountability to the Lord himself. I myself as a Prophet has felt a burden and great concern of the many things that are being said in church circles. I have heard all kind of things including prophecies that contradict each other. I have personally heard from the Holy Spirit concerning these times. The Lord has spoken to me about world events never seen before, global confusion, real estate craziness, inflation, different counries and things to look for in our news and a shortage of food and water at some time. God has been speaking to me strongly of specific places for the last seven years. When I tried to share with some church leaders, I was looked at as not knowing what I was saying, but I understand that it all comes with the calling and the training. Today I am under the covering of a ministry that acknowledges and has confirmed some of these words and warnings. Know what I mostly cherish is the direction that the Lord has given me personally to survive this all. We need to divide the word with balance and know that our all sovergn God will do as he deems necessary. Our nation is truly heading towards destruction if we do not repent. It is the job of the five fold ministers to equip the bride not only for his coming, but for the days ahead. Individually the Bride of Christ needs to practice intimacy and go into the Holy of Holies to search the heart of the Father concerning our place in these times. I personally stand on what God has spoken to me and do not rely on the false promises that our leaders are giving some people. We need to know that He will supply all of our needs according to His riches in Glory and not our wants. Our needs might just be to loose some to gain what truly has value. The Holy Spirit wants to develop fruitfulness in these times. Good times or bad, they are an opportunity to testify of His love, care, power to deliver. THIS IS ALL WRITTEN In HIS WORD, AS YOU WELL KNOW. He will do what has to be done and allow what He allows for the sake of our souls. Israel was given a king not according to the Heart of God, but according to the wants of the people. God will not contend with men forever. With all of this I truly recommend that all practice to hear the true voice of the Lord and not your soulish desires. Brother Jonas you could not have said it better. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that these type of government decisions can bring on the long run great damage. At the end it will be the americans who have to pay for a stimulus like this one. It is US treasury who we would be paying back. How can you give when their is no where to draw from This is all common sense. This has nothing to do with race or nationality, it is common sense. my prayer is for the salvation of our President and a true awakening. Remember most prophecy is conditional. Therefore, God can change it around even if its for a short window of opportunity for the remnant bride. I did not say manipulating christians. For those that he searches their heart and can entrust the riches, wealth and purity of His promises. Be Blessed and to all Let us ask His Spirit to balance our walks. Bottom line if we had to loose it all for the Kingdom Would we truly be willing? I leave that each readers spiritual conscience. Father God, we come before your throne of grace lifting up President Obama and his wife. We pray that they will come to know the joy of the salvation of Jesus Christ. Lord, as written in Zachariah 3, in Jesus’ name we snatch President Obama and his wife from the burning fire and we bring into captivity the Accuser and he must bow down to the obedience of Jesus Christ! Father God, we ask that if Rick Warren is to be a part of President Obama’s life we ask that Warren will be obedient to the Holy Spirit and guide President Obama to the Truth and the Way and the life of Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ name we cancel the democratic agenda as we bring into captivity the strongman of the king Babylon who turns the hearts of men away from the love of God, and they must bow down to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we bring into captivity the spirit of Pharaoh to the obedience of Jesus Christ and we smear the Blood of Jesus on all the American children and fetuses.

God’s fuming fire of anger and His sword is drawn for slaughter. Tongues of warfare accelerate and do not cease. For the battle cry has been heard and shouted out among prophets and kingdom warriors to take the sWORD OF JUSTICE against wicked kings and false prophets.

Sovereign God, if there are any false prophets in President Obama’s life at this moment, we ask that you silence the voice of darkness in the words of the deceptive Jezebel in Jesus’ name. Bring forth spiritually strong and healthy people into the President’s family’s lives in Jesus’ name.

We call forth the Blood of the Lamb upon the doorways of the innocent throughout the land. Death’s angels shall rip the roofs off the demonic and the glory of God shall shine into the homes of their minds, revealing all hidden weapons of warfare against the innocent AND the ignorant. The power of Jesus’ name shall shift the realm of the impossible.

God’s love is hot and melts our hearts to be cleansed, refilled with combustible power to love others. God’s lava love can overflow and do the same thing to all hearts; melting and molding into His image. Then God’s kingdom garden beauty begins to grow of fresh new ground. However, if we don’t guard our hearts, sin weeds grow. Repentance pulls the weeds. God’s new levels of glory cause more eruptions making our hearts bigger and bigger!

We in Christ must rest assured and choose peace. We must make a bloody mess with the Blood of Jesus upon the nation and our lives and those God has blessed us with.

Well, I can see that satan is earning his paycheck. He’s working hard these days. The principalities and powers are doing overtime trying to make everybody crazy with this worldly, racist, warring, recessionary-economic downturn of things. Many people are concentrating on the issues that concern themselves. So perhaps fear or grief or shock may prevent or hinder many from speaking up. And those who appear to be looking out for the other fellow, is it too for their own glory? We are to be like Christ and have the mind of Christ. What did Jesus do while growing in stature and in favor with God? The Bible says that He must be about His Father’s business. Help us Holy Spirit to make a list of things that would be about the Father’s business; then let’s actually “DO” them.

Thank you, Apostle Jonas, for having such zeal and desire for things to go in the right direction. But if this nation or the world has no ears to hear, or eyes to see, then you will probably feel like you’re just beating your head against a brick wall. We appreciate your taking a bold stance where many of us might not be so gifted in that area. Now, know that you have planted the seeds. Now someone else should be able to water so you can have a little break. Take comfort and be encouraged in your heart. God has not forsaken us. He will supply the growth, as well as all our need, so that we can mature the way He wants us to. Unfortunately, sometimes it looks like we have to go through unnecessary trials being servants of the Most High God. I know it’s frustrating, but sometimes when people won’t listen, they eventually have to learn their lessons the “hard” way. Consequences ??? Well, if that’s how it is, so let it be.

Continue to stand steadfast with your whole armor. I invite of all our sisters and brothers in The Anointed Jesus, all over the world, to stay suited up in our whole armor of God, to cast down any kind of fear(s), to pull down strongholds in our imaginations, do not draw back in our faith (so that our Father’s soul will always find pleasure in us); and that we continue to pray and believe that “everything” will work out for our good according to His purpose and His plan for our lives. We know not how, but by faith, it is already done! And satan can work as hard as he wants to regarding race relations, wars, economics or anything else… He and his evil cohorts can fight against us, but we all know that he will “never” prevail against us nor be victorious over us. God has promised, and I for one, truly trust Him and I also believe His Word. God bless…

The voices of the churches that should be speaking out on the issue of the bailout are also the voices that should have spoken out about the illegal war in Iraq. This silence is very distressing.

Are the preachers afraid of not being popular? If they do not address a massive issue such as this which affects virtually all its members, how can we trust them on any other issues they are comfortable discussing?

So here is my question. We have so many that have a passion to see transformation, who crave change…truth re-established in this nation. Why can’t we gather them together? Why isn’t there a coalition, a voice, insisting on change? Where is the voice and who willing to lead this army?
I have been told to continue praying, which I have no problem doing because I love speaking with my Father and hearing what He has to say, but are we using this (prayer) as an excuse not to act…hiding behind a prayer facade instead of getting out there and being heard? Truly,I love blogging my opinion but my opinion does no good from here. We need to unify as One Body for the cause of Christ. We need to get sin out of the church, re-establish holiness and face the reality that we (the church) have been more of a wet noodle than a force to be reckoned with. God has given us a tremendous gift of being an Christian American, but we have adopted this Christian couch potato mentality and have let the precepts and principles that were established from God’s truth just be wittled away while we did nothing. It’s time to regroup and be the army that God has called us to be. We, God’s people, are the ones who have dominion over this earth. We are the authority. Why are we giving it to the other guy? Martin Luther and Rosa Parks, as well as many others, were an awesome voice for change but they couldn’t be a voice alone. They needed the support of the people to be heard. The people had to gather and rally together in support of this voice for change. Myself, I am not the voice. I know this. I am the soldier in support of the voice, but one thing I do know…no longer are we to be a church divided but be a church unified, unified for one cause and one cause only…Christ.

By the way, Mr. Jonas, if you are ever reading this…maybe you are the voice, and maybe all these people that have posted their comments and words of encouragement are those waiting for the one (voice) to rise up and take his position. God has provided the soldiers, but the soldiers are waiting for their leader, their general. Just as God called Moses to lead the nation of Israel out of Egypt, I believe that He is calling for a leader to rise up and be a mouthpiece, His mouthpiece, against the pharoahs of this nation. This leader will cause other leaders to rise up and take their rightful places unifying the Body for the cause(s) of Christ. So I ask you Mr. Jonas, is God giving you a nudge? Is your “voice” changing?

So many leaders of those churches that claim to be Christian like baptists, lutherans and methodists have not been to the school of the Holy Spirit. They have college knowledge, but they do not have Holy Spirit Truth. We must also pray that these pastors will fall in love with Jesus. The blocker spirit blocks many shepherds from receiving the fullness of God. There is much spiritual apathy throughout the land. So many lack the breath of God. So many know not of the redeemed life by the Blood of the Sacrificial Lamb. So many do not speak out because shepherds of the church are falling short. They know not of the Love of the Father. They know not of the Blessings of Abraham. So many shepherds do not have the joy of the Salvation of Jesus. The lost leading the lost. So many churches do not accept the prophet. Many prophets know not how to walk in love. They may be telling the truth but they sound like a banging gong because they walk not in love.

Stunted, apathetic, compromise, lukewarm, and comfortable. Just a few words that describe a portion of the church right now. Apostle Jonas, continue crying aloud and spare not. The Lord showed me how a spirit of compromise was going to invade the church, seize it and try to hold it captive. Captive by fear, apathy and comfortable-ness. The seeker sensitive version is to not upset people. But now we are being shaken on every hand. God is very involved with this, so keep crying out. You are NOT the lone wolf; the spiritual bullhorn has been handed to you just as it has to others. You have chosen to trust our God and clearly say what the Spirit is saying. He that hath an ear let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the church. We can no longer sugar coat what is happening here. Yes, God is with us, and He expects us to say what He is saying and not compromise His word. Much of the silence coming from the church and some prophets has to do with fear. Fear of persecution and rejection because much of the church still rejects the true apostles and prophets. But we must come out of the caves and speak. If God be for us who can be against us? We must put our trust in the Lord our God and all of our need will be provided for. Continue to stand Apostle Jonas, stand and stand therefore.

A short reply to Pastor G. With all due respect, sir, as a white believer allow me to state that my concerns and criticisms of Obama and the party that he represents have absolutely NOTHING to do with race, but they have EVERYTHING to do with foundational policies such as the sanctity of life and marriage. I am sure you know what I am referring to. Honestly, I resent the notion that my oppostion is race related. You presume far too much.

However, I must confess that I agree with much of your perspective and efforts in your community with prayer and righteous action. But please don’t misjudge your white brethren by assuming racism. In doing so, you reveal your own skewed perception of many in the Kingdom.

Those who have the sin of racism in their hearts need to repent swiftly, no matter what race they represent, and we must cease playing the race card as a knee jerk reaction and a broad stroke against an entire group of people.

Perhaps we need to see the good in the president too.
He might not steer the nation very well financial wise, though he’s trying; but it is our very first ‘black’ president so to speak.
The reason why it was so hard for many to predict the outcome was because they had to choose between a woman, a presumably non-American born, and one that wanted to continue the war.

We do not know the outcome of the other candidates; would you be willing to put your soul on the line saying that things would be better when someone else was chosen?
Perhaps from financial point of view McCain would not help out in the bailout, trying to fund the housing industry and get the economy going that way; suppose this would have happened, don’t you think that the continued war on Iraq has no consequences to the economy?

Thousands of workforces are in Iraq, being paid high wages, risking their life for something that would not benefit the economy other then delaying the inevitable. The true hardcore Islamist don’t give up on attacking western civilizations (while at the same time enjoying it’s benefits).
If they’re jailed now for 20 years, they’ll be back. And their sons and their sons sons.
The war in Iraq costs the USA thousands and millions of dollars (if not a billion of dollars) per day.

Bring them back and
1- you’ll have an economy that will run better with more workforces
2- Money payed in high wages to soldiers lieutenants,commanders,… that (apart from getting their wage, get a bonus on being outside USA for being in a dangerous zone) will stop flowing, and these soldiers will be able to invest it in this society (There’s not much they can spend in Iraq with their lower prices, plus it does not stimulate US economy paying things in another country)
3- as for what it’s worth, it does not benefit at all investing in another country apart from keeping it from invading.
4- Money that goes to weapons of destruction and weapons of mass destruction will be halted; This is the type of money where the average american pays about $5 per bomb that in a timespan of a couple of seconds (a couple of months after manufacture) will be gone without return apart from perhaps the murder of a couple of civilians and a criminal).

So one thing that could benefit USA is no more war. You only need a small core of extremists that will destroy the lives of so many.
Same goes on in USA; we’ve already gotten accustomed to it, but a robbery, stealing using violence, it are only a couple of people doing this, yet they sour a nation!
I’m glad for what had happened in Iraq, many terrorists (and without knowing them I do hope we are not imprisoning civilians that have little to nothing to do with it) have been captured, but I don’t believe the USA is capable of capturing every single one of them…

So going back to the elections, McCain might have had a better housing plan to get the economy going, but still might continue proposing war.

The message of the new testament is love. The message of the old testament was abide by the law; but the old testament failed, that’s why God sent his son to show us grace and mercy on the cross.
War is a typical example of old testament thinking. And I do agree terrorists need to be caught and imprisoned!
But fighting evil with evil,wars with wars… Was this what Jesus taught us?
If anyone slaps you on the face, turn the cheek.
And if they take your mantel, don’t ask it back… This is one of the things I have the hardest time with!
But if you want to see the kingdom of God manifest in your life, you may be robbed, beaten, and yet like a lamb your glory will shine!
I’m more than sure Jesus could have called upon all the angels in heaven to blind or strike the people that opposed him!
There’s a line; where a man needs to be loving to his neighbor,and for his neighbors good will stop him from stealing or killing so the neighbor will not be called a thief or murderer; or, where you hurt me, and that’s why I’ll stop you from hurting me (by hurting you).
If America truly wants to follow up Iraq in detail, they supposed to send pastors, counselors, and psychologists to Iraq to teach them that USA citizen are people like Iraquees, that have homes, and are hurt when their loved ones are killed.
The only way to truly uproot evil is by love; in specific God’s love! Loving the other, showing love care, attention, being good hearted towards your enemies… Nothing else can change hearts like that!

That’s something America has forgotten; the nation under God, and that’s also why Europe has been idly sitting by. Europe more then is able to stop the war in Iraq by itself if they wanted to.
If they forget the law God has set before us, our nation will fall; even if it was one soldier lashing out his hate towards the Iraqi prisoner, one decision to abuse the rights of prisoners, or one wrong attitude in a heart, our nation will suffer like Israel on account of Achan’s sin, who took of the possession of Jericho, lied and disobeyed God (Jos 7).

I’m really not eager to speak out against a delicate topic as this, but one of the reasons America’s economy has gone down is not the housing, but the war.
9/11 started all of this, and this is only the aftermath of the shockwave released that day!
Many will also note that in many places around the world the Spirit of God simultaneously started pouring out around 1994-1999.
Depending from place to place revival services, power of God was shown, hearts of men where turned to God.
Most places, including Brownsville Pensacola and other, slowly lost ..things… Something, some substance slowly removed itself from the face of the earth, and was followed by a wave of horror on 9/11.
It was in the news all over the world, and guess what?
The churches where packed, but revivals where no longer there!
Yes, people got saved, and an occasional outpouring on one or a couple of saints still happened, but the revival was meant to equip the church for what was ahead. Noone knew it at that time.
As a result noone was prepared, 9/11 hit, churches where packed with people seeking for answers they could not find!
So they went home. Churches today are not much different from before 9/11 in attendance.
With the exception that God’s power has reveled itself less.
I’m expecting another birthpang soon. Same thing happened in 1900 where revival struck LA (Azuza), followed by a large earthquake.
millions died. In this I don’t see myself as a prophet, but merely as someone who sees history repeat itself, and based on the seasons sees summer is coming / has to come (or is forced to come) ; after winter.

I only hope people will understand in these latter times the importance of the revelation of Jesus Christ in the church; and that revival times don’t happen because they are ‘fun’, but because they have a plan and are needed in the time to come!

So what are we supposed to do?
Funny, but literally nothing out of the ordinary!
Just do nothing! I mean, no heavy prayer services, no doompreachings… Just wait and see!
And in the mean time, tune your heart!
Tune your heart to learn to hear from God on a personal basis.
I believe the revival that may come ahead; more than ever, has to do with corporate anointing!
Where the church will be a church not because of a charismatic preacher, or because of an apostle being the head, but because God will equip / is looking to equip the saints will all of the 5fold gifts.
If you look closer you can recognize that they all are connected, and that it just is based on your ability to hear from God!
Prophetic, teacher, preacher, evangelist,…
Many of them just are hearing, and relaying the message God gave you!
I believe in the future there will be people gifted with Evangelism, that will stretch forth for prophecy.
These people will be prophets on the street, bringing the glory of God from the church to the workplace.
There’s nothing more powerful in these days to have prophets walk the streets talking to individuals preaching Jesus.
They are not the type that preach ‘repent or die’, but the type that will (from their prophetic gift) bring prophetic revelation in a non believer.
And by their prophecy, the non believer/seeker shall be saved; breeding another prophet.
There’s also something I hope to see before Jesus comes back or before I need to go, and that is business men and woman in the kindom of God.
Perhaps a time like this has been created for them!
God wants to save business people too, but their money was in the way.
There’s something that God has been showing me, that in business men/women there is something apostolic.
In fact, the closest earthly job you can get to being apostolic is a business man/woman;running a company.
Much of what’s in the church is found in the world.
Prophets can be compared to marketing analysts, evangelists as salespeople, Pastors are workers or part of the customer support team, teachers as teachers, etc.. perhaps you can fill in the list better then I.
But there’s something with these business men and women, who are so lacking in the kingdom of God!
So many are called to become apostles;more then there are churches, and so few of them actually are!
There’s something about the grace of God on apostles/pioneers that the church currently lacks.
And I hope from the bottom of my heart that God will allow me to live, until I see a birth of this generation coming forth!
Perhaps these economic times are the times to reach them, who usually are consumed by and now are stripped of their business.
As a last thing, I remember a testimony of a church in India that was growing rapidly. The key? Evangelists went to the streets targeting business men. Many got saved, bringing in their tithes, and for a poor nation as india, that brought a lot of wealth to the church. The poor? They automatically followed. Didn’t even need to evangelize to them, for they came by themselves.
Apostles are supposed to see with the eye of God in the congregation. Seeing talents gifts, and speaking prophetic words over their congregation.
They are there together with the Prophets to challenge the believer into using what God has called them to do!
be it playing piano, singing, dancing, evangelizing, or making cake after the service (lol)… all the gifts God has destined to be in the church…
Apostles are with the prophets the ones that are supposed to see the spiritual climate of the country they live in, and the hand/grace of God that goes before them paving the way spiritually and physically.

Many are called to be just workers, and let the handling of the spiritual things be done by others, but even they have a task. Something they can, and must do to see the glory of God revealed in their lives.

I don’t know why Jonas, but when I take time to write on this blog, it is as if I feel God is flowing text through me like reading it from a textbook!

I stand with Apostle Jonas in principle as well as practice concerning this message, and I exhort every Christian leader in America to hear the voice of the Lord and consider your ways. Today, I heard the Spirit of God say, “We are not done with the epithet, ‘America the Beautiful.’” What does this mean? We must prepare to fight for Godly freedom, which is the true beauty of this nation.

This is not the time to break rank and scatter from our comrades-in-arms, seeing that Jesus is the Commander-in-Chief of us all. It’s time for all those of like precious faith to come together with one mind and one heart because the devil has disguised a ruthless agenda in the spirits of political correctness and tolerance and he has caused them to parade through our cities and infiltrate our churches with the false promises of unity and freedom for all. Beware. Beware of their deceptions. These are merely masqueraders, operating under the cloak of darkness to take away our rights to practice our faith according to the Bible and to put us on a road of regression from the fear of the Lord. You tell me if you think that you can live in a place where there is no Godly reverence? Yet, this is the very climate that’s ripening for the wholesale pillaging and ransacking of our faith.

Wake up, Church leaders! Our fight is not with one another. We have no time for offense and no time to waste. Do not be as those who cannot see the forest for the trees. I appeal to you to pray for discernment of these times so that you might know what you ought to do. Do a self-examination and ask God to show you where the generals are that will lead us in battle against the hostile take-over of these spirits. I know that Apostle Jonas is one of those generals that is approved of God, and I believe that God has given him ‘the almond rod that budded’ (Numbers 17:8,10) Before you ally yourself with anyone ask yourself, “What can I do to change things? What am I and my people willing to commit to?” God wants us to regain ground in our families, churches, cities and nation so that we can say with assurance, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord?”

Sorry, Brother Jonas, for my silence. If it were not for my strong faith (and things that I have heard), I would be freaking out about all that is going on. The hand of The Lord is VERY apparent in all of this so I guess I simply “accept” (even embrace) what is happening. God Bless you/us all…

Your article greatly impacted me when I received it the other day. I had intended to respond at the time, but life got busy and I didn’t find the time. However, early in the morning (2/08/2009) I was awakened from a dream that I felt I needed to share. It doesn’t really have anything to do with the stimulus package you mentioned, but I do believe that God is showing the prophets what is coming and we will need to come together more and more in the days ahead or even the elect will continue to be deceived.

Dear Forum family,
I awoke in the middle of the night a little shaken by a dream that I had about what I believe to be the future of America and the lack of light around Christians. This dream brought with it ailments that I had not gone to bed with (right arm hurting terribly and barely movable, headache coming on the right side as well that I haven’t been able to shake and my left foot is bothering me terribly to try to walk). For those of you who see everything prophetically I believe adding this information will help you to see more of what I am sharing.

The DREAM as I remember it…

I was walking down a street in any City. I looked around and I could see that although it was daytime there was a darkness over the City. It was in fact like a thick cloud of darkness. It was almost indescribable except to say that it wasn’t beautiful, sunny and bright for the season I thought it was, but heavy, dark and foggy instead. I couldn’t even see people clearly until I was pretty much upon them and then when I was upon them I could see through their eyes that they had evil intentions. I am not a horror movie watcher and never have been, but that is what they reminded me of. People who come out after dark to do things that they want hidden in darkness yet now it was so dark even in the middle of the daytime that they could come out all the time. Evil permeates through their blood and all they seem to want is to feast on the pain and suffering of others. I turned and confronted 3 men whose intentions to-wards me I knew and simply told them to stay away from me and that I knew their thoughts. They didn’t touch me.

On the other side of this same street there appeared to be a huge building. Maybe a City office building or something. Many of you have driven through towns I am sure where they have a Town Square and within that square is a huge building where many City offices are held. At least that is what it looked like. The side I was walking through seemed dark and dreary, while on the other side I saw our new President Barack Obama walking merrily along the way. On his side of the street it was beautiful and light. There were no awful people near him trying to hurt or harm anyone. No Secret Service agents watching his every move. He was simply walking on the sidewalk on that side of the street just as I was on my side.

Later on in the dream we are both at the same place. We are in a home I believe and it is a casual setting. He is talking to someone and I ask him. “Mr. Obama, I mean President Obama, don’t you see the darkness that is trying to take over? Can’t you see the evil people that are out there trying to hurt and harm others? He looked directly at me and simply said ‘No.”

I was pretty stunned. He saw everything as beautiful and lovely and yet for some reason I was seeing darkness coming more and more. Then as I was leaving this house I saw President Obama in a room with a lady who was wearing red. They didn’t know I was there listening, but I peeked in and saw that she was dressed to the nines in red and no it wasn’t his wife and no he wasn’t doing anything improper before anyone thinks I am accusing him. The woman who appeared to be beautiful and beguiling was speaking to him and I saw fear upon him as he spoke. He even appeared to be shaking a little as he talked with her, but I didn’t sense that his fear was of her, but rather of me. As I listened I could hear him telling this woman in red that ‘I knew’. He told her that I could somehow see what was really going on and what was coming and he didn’t know what to do about it. She of course told him not to worry about it. I was only one person and I would be no problem at all.

This part of the dream shook me the most. Why? Because I ‘a child of the King’ was seen as so puny in the site of what I sensed in the dream was a Jezebel spirit. I was somehow not going to cause any problems and so she was trying to console him and brush my ‘knowing’ off as nothing. Now, I am not like Elijah who thought he was the only one out there so I share this dream in hopes that others will ban together with me in prayer against the spirits that are leading Barack Obama. I know that there are countless men and women of God, Intercessors, Apostles, and Prophets alike who sense (not from the news or media), but from God Himself, that our Country is heading in the wrong direction and that the people spoke loudly and were given what they wanted.

The sad reality is (whether those who read this agree with me or not) we are now under the leadership of a King Saul type of man. A man who will rule without the counsel of God and a man who will walk in jealousy and do ALL THAT HE CAN to silence the Godly voices or wisdom around him like Saul did to David who was called to be King himself.

Apostle Jonas God is still speaking to the prophets, just some of us aren’t well known. We do have trouble ahead, and we are not exempt from trials, but I have to believe that Saul’s’ reign won’t be long.

Please continue to pray with me. The lady in red may be a Jezebel, but we must refuse to go hide in caves again while she rules. One final thing about this woman in red who was dressed to the nines and seemed to be so beautiful and beguiling to Mr. Obama is this. Her face was not normal as yours or mine. She had the appearance of beauty, but her lips were not there. She actually had a beak in the place of her lips. It too was red and matched with her clothing, but she did not speak from natural lips with ruby red lipstick or something. She was speaking through a red beak.

My brother in Christ, My intenion in responding is to simply let you know how much your ministry blesses my walk & to repent for not responding more. Like many I am sure, I just read & eat & never think of the importance of supporting our true prophetic voices, especially in this day. i think we pople are guilty of not seeing thosethat are in the forefront of ministry as being just like everyone else, needing support, encouragement & some Jesus in skin.I know about lonlines in my own walk with the Lord so one would think that I would be juping to encourage others like myslf.Online ministry for me began to lose its effects about 5 yrs. ago. I could sense my effectiveness growing weak & realized my season was approaching “over”. There are now only a few ministries that I am able to digest what I read, the resthave sadly been bewitched into the modern day beliefs of “churchianity” did I spell that right?lol, Wheres the Gospel of the Kingdom? No wonder its when THAT Gospel is preached that He will return huh? I am one of the ones mentioned at the end of this word from you, come out of the cave. I agree with everything you said here & got a revelation as I read of how the stimulus wil tickle my flesh & others,, but has longterm death to our nation. Again, I repent.

dunno how my first reply got sent brfore I was done….I could ramble on but my goal here is to let you know that i am blessed and have been dor many years by your words etc. There have been times when i was all alone wondering if I was crazy brcause what I was hearing from Him did not line up with most of what I was hearing from man. It has helped me to finally come to the place of understanding that the one who is a voice in the wilderness only gets heard by the remnant with an ar to hear.The stiff necked & hardened hearted will never hear what the Spirit is saying because thay are not supposed to. Just know that those of us that are hearing and receiving are guilty of not making our appreciation known to those that feed our spirits, God forgive us. My prayed for you is that He will continue to give you the tongue of a pen of a ready writer, the courage & strength found only through Him & the ability to dust off your feet when HE says to.
