One indeed needs to work of debts and save money, to perhaps one day give to their childeren.
I understand it to be good to besides paper bills to save in other items as well.

But imagine; even for the cause of God, one to buy instruments, Television, and all sorts of goods for his house.
Aren’t they in danger for being stolen?

Tell me, where is it best to “save”; in money so the politicians can get their biggest share through inflation and later on perhaps higher taxes; or in spending it today in goods, that have a higher chance to be broken down or stolen by burglars over the time one has these items?

The more I think about money, and what God would want; the more confused I get…

Should we not focus on becoming less dependent on the physical, and more aimed towards the supernatural, and that which is Godly?

We could run in danger of losing our job (is what we fear),and no assurance we’ll still have a house.

We are getting into a time where almost all our time is consumed by work; only to purchase a bigger house, better couch, better car, luxuries, …, and little time is spend actually enjoying life as God gives it.

The Bible says to “store up your treasures in heaven”, and that should be a higher goal than storing them on earth “where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal”. Mat.6:19.

I think we should focus on “how can I store up treasures in heaven,rather than here on earth”?

One part by ‘giving’; another by ‘learning to love (especially the unloved)’.

A thought came to my mind, that the first church wasn’t capitalistic, but a socialistic one.
Everyone shared everything with everyone; and this only works when the people are without sin,not taking abuse of it.
Either way, a capitalistic state only works where people don’t abuse; and in some sense Bill gates definitely has.
He’s someone that will spend nearly 20 years of his life trying to figure out where his wealth will be donated to, because he himself can’t spend that much!

Money that could have been there for those who’ve been living in poverty; in a place where their basic needs where not provided for.

Capitalism itself is not fair;for a hard worker and laborer can earn his living, while a smooth salesperson can earn 5times more and do 5times less per day…

I understand you prefer capitalism over socialism, but neither one of them work in a society that has gotten corrupt.

Democracy does not work in a corrupt society.
If 85% of the society is immoral and adulterous, won’t they vote for a party that will enable “quick and easy divorces”, and promote ‘polygamy’?

Democracy as well as socialism work in a society that has not been corrupted.

Insurance is a form of socialism, that works if noone takes abuse of it.
But the moment people start abusing it, and rates go up, people will feel it’s only right to abuse it; since they pay so much, and hardly get anything in return.

The issue lies deeper than the system we are going to.

Believe it or not; want it or not, but God knows,and has allowed Obama to become president; regardless of what his saints believe or wanted!

There’s a reason why God allowed it to happen, and you could agree 1 year ago that it could become a tight race between the both of them.
But as you saw the news, the latest political catastrophe’s all ran in favor of Obama; tables where turned around, and Obama was elected by a large margin over McCain.

This; something unthinkable 1 year ago has happened, and has happened for a reason.
Not alone for the sleeping and dozing saints, but more for the nation of america. The USA.
Evil people only abuse the benefits given to them by a good president.
Bring a president that gives them what they want; and if the nation does not rise up in prayer, then let them have what they where longing for!

It is wise in these times to keep our eyes opened, and listen to the Holy spirit, to tell us what’s ahead of us!
Let socialism come! Let people learn that socialism,nor communism, nor capitalism is the way to true happiness and joyful living!

I would advise to redirect our focus; and prepare the saints for a new flood of unbelievers will flood the churches soon.
We need to get ready to meet their needs.
Their needs will be economical, financial, emotional, and spiritual too.

I believe with this move, God will reach many ex-business men. People who had no ear for God in a time when they had money!
But losing it all, was the only way for them to hear.

Out of them God will make apostles, prophets, and many evangelists.

When I write this, I can only thank God for living in such a time as this, where our troubled times will work for good, and whereof paul says to “Rejoice in your suffering”.
Once you start seeing the pieces of the puzzle, you can do nothing else but rejoice, and thank God!

you know? God is still in control!
It’s not like he has left America!
He just lets the child experience what it is to be going against his word.

“Sure, stick your hand in the fire, and be burned; I’ve warned you many times,but you won’t listen..”

Be prepared to have bandages ready, because there will be many ‘burned hands’ coming to church!
