Cop shoots unarmed black youth in the back, citizens riot. There was rioting in Oakland, California Thursday night. A police officer shot and killed a young man on New Years Day.  Fortunately for the “rule of law” there were two people with video cell phones that caught the incident on camera. Here is the link to the video: Warning! It’s the real deal and very disturbing. You will see a 22 year old black kid shot in the back.

The message needs to get out.  

• You don’t shoot an unarmed person in the back. Period! He was on the ground with his hands behind his back and subdued by three cops straddling him. 

•  This is not China, Russia or Iran. 

• You can’t expect American citizens to submit to lawlessness by public safety officials charged with upholding the law.

 Folks Scripture declares in the last days perilous times shall come. This is an opportunity for the leadership in Oakland to make a stand. That’s you too Mayor Dellums! Stand up for righteousness and put this cop in jail. Don’t ask the citizens to uphold the rule of law when you won’t. The people are watching your actions, not listening to your rhetoric. I respect our law abiding police officers that risk their lives defending our cities but this is clearly a cop gone wild. My advice to the city officials is to come clean with this. Don’t try to cover it up! Put this cop in jail.
