THE RADICAL LEFT’S CHOICE ARCHITECTURE

Progressive social engineers, also known as left-wing radicals, use a term called “nudging.” They teach the use of nudges to bring about behavioral changes. That’s right, they want to change the way you behave. If they can change the way you think they can bring about behavioral changes in your life.
It ever amazes me how creative these folks can be. As statist they desire to manipulate people into looking to government for guidance in making right choices. Freedom of personal choice is still part of our American fabric. We don’t need the government to keep reminding us to turn off the lights, how to sneeze, or eat healthy foods.
Co-authors of “Nudge” Thaler and Sunstein wouldn’t agree. They believe in “choice architecture” through the use of a nudge. “By a nudge we mean anything that influences our choices. Choice architecture (nudging) is the context in which you make your choice. Suppose you go into a cafeteria. What do you see first, the salad bar or the burger and fries stand? Where’s the chocolate cake? Where’s the fruit? These features influence what you will choose to eat, so the person who decides how to display the food is the choice architect of the cafeteria.” I have to give these guys some credit, they do know how to make their social engineering sound good.
Author Cass Sunstein is also President Obama’s Regulation Czar. So how much do we trust Washington D. C. politicians? Those of us that actually use their heads for something besides ball caps know this whole “choice architecture” is not about helping us make good decisions, no, it’s about manipulating us to make decisions that advance governments ever encroaching role in our lives. Enough already!
I suspect nudges from Marxist social engineers have a dark side. Maybe you do too. Continually using nudges with false motives cause ideas, words, and traditions to morph into something else, something quit different than their original intention. Could it be possible the goal from big brother is the official presentation of information that nudges individuals to make certain decisions, decisions they use to conceal a leftist agenda?
Americans face nudges daily through radio, television and university. Have you seen any “go green” commercials lately? To nudge our nation away from the guidance of the U. S. Constitution, away from the truth of the Bible, away from personal responsibility, or away from Christian culture that has formed the Republic and given us the most sought after country in the world is demonic and seditious. Christ is Lord not the Federal government.
Scripture declares, “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” (Ephesians 6:11). “Wiles” are methods. Now the warrior of Christ has another wile to add to his or her list, political nudging.
